      @@RESTORATIONRESCUE I've build a lot of engines over the years, one thing I learned early on was the importance of detail during assembly. There is a lot of work done on the engine that the video does not show, a lot of measurement, a rigorous cleaning, with special attention to the oil circuit. In my opinion, an engine assembly must always be detailed and you should always be focused on what you are doing, definitely not something you want to rush.

      André Martins I’ve never built an engine yet. So I love watching people build it. I do the easier stuff like suspension stuff which is easy and stuff like that.

    Bad ass man. I need to rebuilt mine. It just hydrolocked. But Im not that experience so far I pulled it oit and tooked apart cyl 1,3,5 rods are bend. Could this be a bad fuel pressure regulator. ?

    • @andremartins6402
      @andremartins6402  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Most of the times bends rods = water in the cilinders, bad headgaskets

      @@andremartins6402 there was fuel in the cylinders...I check all injectors doing the test with bottle waters to see if any leaks but all look good

    • @andremartins6402
      @andremartins6402  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you pressure test the rail and didnt saw any fuel leaks from the injectors, injectors orings, fuel damper on the vacuum port, same thing on fuel pressure regulator. then most likely the fuel that you saw in the cilinders was unburned fuel because of lower compression

    • @andremartins6402
      @andremartins6402  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Try to aplied vacuum to fuel damper and fuel pressure regulator when doing the fuel rail pressure test and check for leaks on those vacuum ports.
