For me, the best devastator figure and the best components for me are:
Robot mode: skipjack
Vehicle mode: scrapper and overload
Combine mode: scrapper, Hightower and buckethead

This is clearly inspired by the Legends Class ROTF devastator Scrapper. They have similar esq transformations.

a few month ago I started watching your Studio Series Constructicons Videos after that the Devil Savior Versions, damn, they look fantastic, still on the hunt for the Studio Series Devastator

Looks Waay better than the Studio Series version. Especially in the Vehicle mode
To be fair to the Hasbro version, when you compare a Masterpiece figure to a Studio Series figure, the MP will almost always win. It isn't really an equal fight between them.
Meh. I honestly like the Hasbro one more. Especially the feet
The Studio series robot mode beats this one.
@@mix1806 True but when the vehicle mode is literally just a blob of parts with a cab and scoop rather than an actual vehicle (and definitely not anywhere near what he turned into in the movie) I don’t think the robot mode justifies it.
@@tfan2222the scoop was horrendous on the Studio Series version. And it looked nothing like the silhouette when they reveal Devastator for SS. In fact, the final product looks nothing like the prototype or the CG render of the figure.

Would we get a comparison between the devil savior devastator and the studio series devastator? Or are both too big to show at the same time?
They're actually roughly the same height. But the DS Devy is WAY bulkier - it's literally the size of a small child. I don't have the final piece yet, but I have the rest of the set and it takes two hands to handle the combined mode even slightly

Agreed that Scrapper is one of the best ss constructicons, if not the best one! I'm still looking forward to Landslip which should be arriving soon!

Scrapper's front end loader alt mode in fact is way much bigger than the Chevy Trucks both Autobot Skids & Mudflap transformed into.
The only problem I see in the combined mode is the robot mode hands look like they would get in the way of grasping things in that hand in combined mode. Now if it is meant to be static in the down position like that then that's one thing. I just can't see it as a usable hand like that. Otherwise an awesome figure.

I don't understand why people prefer the alt form on the voyager from Hasbro over the devil savior. The studio series Scrapper alt mode is inaccurate, lazy looking & looks like a junk like mess. When Devil Savior actually had the vehicle mode down perfectly.
seriously, the vehicle mode of ds looks pretty much just like the cat 992c the ss looks like a childs toy
