Much as I don’t like this design of Devastator, I can’t help but marvel at whoever managed to pull off the engineering of this design in figure form fully transformable and virtually kibble-free
Me neither... But of all the "busy" ones out there... I think I DO want this guy. Like if I wanna invest my entire day just fiddling with Transformers, I've decided IT'S THIS BABY. Hahaha 😄.

I've got a lot to say about this. First, this is truly a grand finale for me. I've been waiting so long for Touch Toys to complete this. Man, it's is SO WORTH IT! Next, poor guy can't carry all his weight and needs a stick... But no matter. If he holds together, I don't mind just carrying him like a child (he's HUUUUGE... and yes, I actually do love him...!). Also, playing with/transforming this guy looks like I'mma need coffee breaks, a lunch break... Heck, might even have to come back to it the next day. I might need an entire undisturbed weekend to fully appreciate everything about this set. BUT I TOTALLY WOULDN'T MIND THAT if I could get my hands on this (words of a single man without kids... otherwise, I would be saying something different...). Last, what a centerpiece this would be! With all the details, the paint job, the chains. He's truly one of a kind. Great pool of talents to design and manufacture this. HUGE thanks to Touch Toys for all the vids about this guy (all your vids actually)!
I love the more diverse designs. In G1, a lot of the characters looked pretty much the same. But Bayverse and other series (Like Prime and Animated) give the characters unique body shapes and more interesting designs.
What a journey we had with Devil Saviour's Troublemaker. From the overly complicated Split to the long awaited Landslip, we finally get to see the glorious Troublemaker standing and ready to devastate any Autobot that stands on its way. Honestly, this is a more faithful and accurate representation of ROTF Devastator than the Studio Series' attempt to recreate.
Not a bayformers fan but these toys are Epic! The best thing about the TF franchise is that there exist so many different interpretations many people can find a home in her house.

I do love how Scrapper turned out and the final component for the combine form... but the final product of the Devastator looks awful and should've been better and worked on more. Don't get me wrong, Scrapper, Buckethead, Skipjack and Overload (at least for the robot mode and alt mode) are amazing looking, the rest are quite disappointing looking to be honest, like Hightower could've been a bit bigger, Longhaul should've been beefier and bigger and included Payload to be with Skipjack to be the left leg, Scavanger looks like an oversized legends figure and has the feature of one which he should've looked more accurate and have the head aka the face of Devastator and include that feature as well, since the red did come from him and not Mixmaster, who's the neck and head but not the face. Because Mixmaster who's name is Split is a correct term of him, because he is simply the worst looking and worst engineered so far, plus not at all accurate at all due to the whole mess Devil Saviour engineered. What I'm trying to say is that this Devastator isn't horrible (only awful and off putting), he should've increase the component number to 10 with Scrapmetal and Payload, andall of them to have the transformation to have that black magic engineering, but also to be fun to do and mess around, and to have more thought on the project. I hope some 3rd Party does exactly like that with 10 constructicons and listen to the critisism not just me, but JobbyTheHong and others as well, because this whole Devil Saviour combined product is an textbook example of good idea that executed poorly to compete with the Studio Series Devastator, and it shows (btw I know that the SS isn't perfect, but it was fun to mess with at least).

I once commented on one of his Lives if our chubby spinner was going to do more reviews of the combiners, and the lazy guy just said no lol. Don't expect him to review this not or maybe anytime soon.
Not a fan of this Devastator BUT to see it get a proper treatment is very impressive. I do like the robot mode of this vehicle, there's few bayformers I really like the look.
scrapper was landslip, scrapmetal was bomber, hightower was paronoider, skippjack was sweeping, long haul was smash, overload was compresser, scavenger was giant axe, and mixmaster was split. just to correct your devil constructicons.
Love the craftsmanship, but WTF was Bay thinking designing these things in his movie??? Did he not watch Transformers as a kid? You can pretty much slap this thing together any way you want, and it will still looks the same! UPsidedown, on its side. Good thing it has Balls, or you wouldn't know which way to stand it up. I know some people like the whole Bay thing🙄, but to me That thing isn't even close to Devestator to me. Nice craftsmanship as always, but to each their own.
The fact that this TH-camr has to do the trademark turnaround reveal routine, despite how heavy that thing really is, is just WOW. MAD RESPECT THERE.

Agreed. It looks fantastic, great paint job on each figure. Very detailed transformation, all modes look movie accurate. I just hate the design.
