  • Toronto Transit Commission have started to using the electronic next stop announcement system heard in the Flexity streetcars for its buses. In Summer 2015, TTC updates bus stop messages when they are needed using this system, such as the recently implemented Northcrest Rd stop. However, in 2016, another system was implemented for stops that needed updating. The following are the messages shown in the video.

The announcer voice was changed once again between 2018-2019 with the implementation of the new VISION system, this one is a computer voice rather than the human recording used under the previous system. All next-stop bus announcements are now via VISION's new computer voice.

The reason why vision system came in 2018 because the Trump system is too old to stay.

Am I the only one slightly annoyed that it's a TTS voice? I suppose it saves money using that program instead of paying someone to voice it for you. I hope it gets changed to sound more natural because it's very apparent that it's TTS
