Listening and thinking about where I am and what has lead me to this point, and what could possibly come after. I started feeling tears well up. But I didn't cry, it was more like relief and understanding. Thank you. From the bottom of my heart.
I really felt and related to you when you spoke about how you feel about your thirties and how, even while it may have been one of the most important periods of your life, your memory didn't cooperate with you. I don't know your experiences, and I won't pretend like I do, but memory can be so brutal. Recently I underwent electroconvulsive therapy. While it's a much safer procedure than it has been in the past, it can still have some very profound effects on one's memory. The time during which I had the treatment was extremely important to the story of my life. And so it's been frustrating trying to cope with the absence of most any recollection of that time. But recently I've been able to find a degree of peace in the fact that, even if I have no memory of it, that time made me who I am today, and that will never change. Even if I can not reach it, it will forever be a part of me. Thanks for this video, hope you're doing well.
I made a video like this and an ambulance was called by a misundertstood fan, just to make sure everything was okay behind the illusion, including a bill a week later. Point is, the art gets more real for everyone as we get older. 🌭
So touching.. I'm closing in on 50 and I started magic almost a year ago as a way of healing. A bad reaction to a cortisone shot messed up my right thumb. Physical therapy did nothing but aggrivate it. Surgery has a huge chance of messing it up more. A friend said try magic. The small movements and manipulating cards has changed things. Although I'm still learning how to write with my left hand, I can write for awhile with my right. Time is precious and I give it to my kids and my youngest wants to do the magic that I practice. Ty for being one of my inspirations. I plan on getting my first tattoo in July and it will be a card.. haven't decided on the suit. But it'll be a seven for I feel lucky and blessed for making it this far.

Interesting how certain messages appear in life at the "right" time. I thought I had seen every Madison video ever made and here I am discovering this one when I need it most.
Life deals the cards in strange ways, and it depends on us how we use them. I have a curious anecdote to tell. My older brother, who from a very young age suffered from diabetes and celiac diseace, dedicated his few years to practicing drums and music, with his soul and pure love for what he did. Music was his life, and he never wanted to do anithing other than that. When he was 24 years old, his health worsened. He passed away the same day of my 18th birthday (Im 25 years old now ). I was debased, but over time I understood that life is finite, and we are extremely lucky to be alive, and it is up to us what we do with it. There is no turning back in life, I prefer to dedicate my life to what I love and die fighting for that, than refuse to waste my life being sad. Excuse my poor english, I speak spanish. I wish you the best, your videos always keep me going. Regards

Mad - oddly enough, I found out that the 3/9 gathering was 4 years to the day after I made a commitment to studying magic by enrolling in an online academy to learn the fundamentals of card work. On that day, I took an obsessive hobby and childhood dream and chose to promote it to become my life's pursuit. I think I've filled my toolbox. It's time to do something with it. Thank you for being there for me. I only wanted to steal away a few moments of your time and you were there for me. Conversations I was afraid would take hours took only moments - because you gave yourself fully to the moment and I knew we understood each other... for me, that is exceedingly rare but, when it happens, it is unmistakable and beautiful.
