- I waiting long time for this and now, my clock already finish rebuild
I repair the movement, put the new glass and put the new dial.
I can't find original Jauch clock dial.
So i buy vienna type clock dial with no key hole, i drill the clock dial for the key hole and put the grommet.
The hands and pendulum are original.
This clock plays Whittington, St. Michael and Westminster chime.
Hope you all enjoy it with my new collection.

Oh I have this clock! It is my baby! I bought it in Heidelberg GE in early 1990 - 1992. I brought it back to USA in 1998. So carefully. And I have NO IDEA where I put the key!! So for years it has just been hanging on my wall waiting for me to find the winding key! Love it!!!

One slot is for the time keeping mechanism, one is for the hourly strike chimes, and one is for the quarterly hour melody chimes.
Very nice clock, I'm not a fan of the Westminster chime thats the trouble when you live close to big ben, but this is a nice version the hour chime is nice, Whittington will always be my favourite chime though pove hour it hammers down through the scale on quarter past..

Right wind slot for chime train, the middle one is for time train to move the time of that clock and the left one is for striking train, if it's 8 o'clock it will strike 8 times...
You can use other clock key, find the suitable one for the clock key size.....ebay have many clock keys for sale...you will find it there..

Yes, Jauch is make from Germany, but Jauch not have so many, it's very limited....it's so hard to find, it's rare...Thanks for watching.

Well, this clock don't have its dial when i bought it.
Also the movement need to be repaired.
I can't find the original dial and i can't find Jauch Triple Chime complete clock, its so hard.
That's why i bought this clock and i restore it.

Since parts are becoming difficult, if not impossible, to find now clock suppliers have conversion charts to replace Jauch clock movement models with another manufacturer's movements."
Yes, these are great clocks too... too nice for a cheap generic replacement movement. I would get an original German Kieninger.
We have 2 clocks in our living room. One exactly like this one, but it doesn't chime anymore. The second one is an old grandfather clock form Westminister.
Replace the movement there is one on eBay now

Why do these clocks use a separate set of gongs for striking? They create a chord that does not correspond to any of the melodies.

i use a hot melt glue gun on clock dial feet, right now already 10 years still tough.

Can a quartz chime mechanism be repaired short of replacing the whole thing? It houses a D Battery and the top of the built-in chime has like a cylinder where the chime comes out of and is also the speaker. There are 2 red wires, looks brand new, going to the actual (connected) quartz movement. Everything looks connected properly, no corrosion, nothing rusty, looks new.....it just doesn't chimes I can hear the "click" sound at the top of the hour signaling for the chime to start but the chime doesn't start. Any thoughts? ♡ thank you ♡
Your better off getting a new quartz movement
Music boxes are available . Your old box can be replaced. Try Ali Express. This is good & sounds nice

Note, the "two" reversed is also used for the "seven." Must be made in China.
As stated, the dial is not the original one. The clock was made in Germany.
