IngramSpark vs KDP: Who Has the Advantage?

Hi Dale, you are correct. All my books have gone through Ingram, and I got world distribution, and I have made more money away from Amazon than with Amazon.

Ingram Sparks has now twice over been extremely costly to me. The first time bookstores returned copies I was out cost to $300.00 since we have to commit to if return destroy because to send back is even more costly to ship. Well it happened again. The bookstore ordered 24 hard bound copies and returned 20 Even though I offered to buy them at the 55% discount I had given them. He said no he had to return to I-Spark or I could buy them at the bookstore rate. Sure enough I now have a whooping bill of $267.00 since they took the 50.00 profit I had in the account. So for my third book I’m going to not give the discount and it will be only available to people who want a hardbound book. As far as bookstores I’ll see if we can to a consignment type thing if not that’s okay. Im not really making anything being in bookstores. So sad. (Children’s books) P.S. I

Can I sell my e-book on both IngramSpark and KDP?

I wouldn't recommend it since IngramSpark distributes to Amazon. That'd duplicate publish your content. I'll use IngramSpark and KDP for print, but not ebook sales. I use KDP and go direct to most publishing platforms that aren't IngramSpark.
