- My mother in Law and father in Law lost there retriever x Lab 6 months ago so the family decided to surprise them with a tiny new 6 week old puppy :) She is called Brynnie and is from Wales Bryn. She is the cutest little pup and i think you can see, the inlaws where very happy
SHE WAS HOMED AT 6 WEEKS AS THE MUM HAD ABANDONED THEM AND WASNT FEEDING HER PUPS SO WE HELPED BY TAKING HER EARLY, SHE GAINED SOCIAL SKILLS THROUGH US AND OUR BOXER DOG LOLLY

When the elderly get a puppy they cry, pet it softly, and love on it. Its adorable. Give a child a puppy they scream, fight over holding it, and hold it too tightly.

Seeing a grown elderly man cry over getting a new puppy literally made my heart completely melt!
I cannot say what is cuttest: the puppy, the children or the elderly! Ton of kisses to all!
That puppy is going to be well cared for ! It already looks like Grandpa and they've only just met ! :)
I think I can safely speak on everyone's behalf after watching so many videos of people receiving dogs as a present or whatever the case may be.... that puppies.... or any pet for that matter bring such joy and happiness into their lives. They are truly a gift from heaven.

I just rescued a St. Bernard on Sunday and tears came as well....very special time in anyone's life....!!

@@anna4756 There are MANY St. Bernard Rescues all over the country....what part are you in? I can give you the name of the person in that area....many available...all ages...
My usual line is 'don't take a puppy from it's parents before 8 weeks'... on this occasion I am sooo choked up on the love that this puppy is going to get that I know she will be well trained and looked after, I have no fear for her xx what a lovely video x

That is one happy grand dad and grand ma...i love to see senior citizens so happy. Lord knows they deserve it above all others.
In my opinion this is the BEST of the surprise puppy gift videos! I absolutely love it! I know without a doubt that this puppy will have a happy life full of love and that the family will have joy having such a beautiful dog! The dog wasn't treated cruelly in the box, it was opened quickly, and everything went off without a hitch! A+ in my opinion!!!

911ambulancegirl right....this wasn't dragged out like most surprises that involves a puppy in a closed box. they got in and got it done in a smooth caring fashion :)

The love amongst this family is just sooo-oo obvious! Beautiful.
i notice how the more seasoned the person the deeper the sense of love at first sight. you can see clearly that they really love this puppy.
I absolutey love when older people gets pets bc they are sooo gentle with them, unlike children who would just want to drop them and not hold them correctly
You can see that pup will never lack for love that is for sure! I have tears in my eyes watching the older couple just loving up the pup! Bravo!
They're so happy. And that is one adorable baby pup. Look at her, just nods off in nans arms. So very calm. That was a wonderful thing you did for your inlaws. You gave them such a treasure.

This is probably my favorite of all the puppy gifts. They were truly happy n it was so touching.
Love at first sight. You see it in their faces and the way they love on it. Puppy got a very good home.

Grandpa is so into the puppy, he has no time to react on anyone. Nice to see how people adore and melt when they get a new dog.

Ahh. This made me cry like an idiot. The whole room is laughing at me and I don't even mind. This is the most loved and cherished dog I imagine the world has seen. They just love her so MUCH. You can tell by the way they handle her. Good on you for giving them something that can love them in return. So precious.

Personally I think it's so great giving puppies to the elderly. Or even an adult dog. They're nearing the end of their lives and dogs give them such unconditional love all the way to the end. Not to mention they'll most likely be spoiled rotten lol

I know an old person that was suffering from depression after his wife died.His family was abroad, and he was in a flat with no friend's. One day, a family friend of there's brought him a 2 year old Border Collie from the shelter and the old man was the happiest person alive! It's amazing the impact dogs make in a persons life. :')
