In high school me and my friends on the cross country team found a corral of 3 horses behind someone’s house in the woods. So every day for like a month we’d buy a bag of apples and sugar cubes and trespass and feed their horses. They started getting excited to see us because they knew what was coming. The owners never found out and neither did our coaches. The joy on their faces eating apples and sugar was priceless 👌😍

My mom taught me that, she was raised a farm girl and had her own horse and that's what they always tell you at stables, at least if you want to offer a horse something that's not long grass.

We used to always give our horses sugar cubes as a special treat. They were always greatly appreciated…not sure how good they are for them. But what the heck a little spoiling them can’t be too bad.

@@kurrwa processed doesn't mean bad for you. Medicine is processed. In fact animals need sugars to survive. The reason we don't eat too much is that it's basically pure energy and our bodies can't use it all fast enough.
Giving a horse sugar cubes, while there's more sugar than an apple, won't hurt it at all since their bodies and lifestyles are WAY more active than ours. It's basically the equivalent of a human eating a couple grains of sugar. Not because of size, but because of lifestyle.

Animals are basically Humans born as an Animal that cant talk and do not remember their past life. If you were to die and wake up as a Cow with no past life memories you will act just like any other Cow. People will see you and think no highly or differently.
Unfortunately they don't "reason" that way. But they are very intelligent animals
