I KNOW!!!!!!!! They just don't build them even close to what they sue to, AT ALL!!!! Thanks for watching!! I'm glad to hear it was inspiring to you, Thanks!! : )
There powerful engines for there era. What a nice car. The engines looked huge, because of all the sheet metal for the air cooling. I have been in a Franklin too... it was very smooth too.
Yeah, long lasting engines as well! I love the sheet metal and the cowling on those old cars, especially in the 20's! Yeah the ride was absolutely amazing, no different than a modern car, except it's so much better! Thanks for watching again Bud!! : )
I went to the Gilmore Car Museum, in Hickory Corners, Michigan last March. They had a whole building dedicated to Franklin automobiles. I have a video up on it, on my channel. You should check it out. I will send a link in another comment, as links often put comments in a spam folder. Howard
I absolutely love the automobiles that started it all. I'm a huge fan of cars from the 1880's - 1930's. Its sad that not a lot of younger people understand the sheer enjoyment of these cars. I'd take a '17 Ford Model T over a '17 Ford Gt and I'm 16.
I absolutely agree with you about all that! I don't understand how knucklehead kids these days can walk by one of these special historic cars, shrug there shoulders and walk away, while there face is burred in there phones of course!!!! Anyway, thanks for watching Man, and thanks for subscribing by the way!! : ) PS: That is great that you are a bit younger than me and you love old cars, like me! I like that you think like that!! : )
Very nice car. That area was perfect for showing it's abilities too.Highways and byways were the only way to town,or to get across country, except dirt roads or trains.
Why oh why did our lives out grow this era of transportation.Truly inspiring video.
