Matt McHugh man ur lucky u manage to keep a windshield lmao I went through 3 on my gade and decided it wasn’t worth the 300$ every time I rolled it down a hill
Super easy, the powerlines are typically a pretty safe bet for off trail riding when you come across them. Hop on google maps in the satelite mode to see where the powerlines are and where they cross trails to determine where you should hit the trails. Further away from towns the better because there will be less tracks on them.
Hey Matt thanks for the reply much appreciated . If your interested in showing us around one day we will cover the gas in your sled were thinking of coming down in March maybe around the 13th. Get back if your interested.
Got kind of a beginner question with all the snow flying back into your face how are you able to see where you're going without wiping off your goggles constantly
The gopro and my goggles are basically the same thing. However clear the video is is how clear I can see. So when its super dry snow like this, it doesn't stick to goggles/gopro lenses much and just falls off. And if it's a wetter snow, I have to wipe my gopro and goggles often to be able to see well.
Hey Matt, that looks awesome. It is cool that you can ride off trail in some deep snow. It is very hard for us to find places. Don't listen to some of the negative comments, nice video
@@MattMcHugh257 Thanks, for a split second it's extremely long, still preview looks photoshopped a bit to make it longer, watched the whole thing, must've missed those few frames though
I only like riding the powerlines when the weather is clear like this so I can see anything like that. I've heard of a few other people hitting those and that sketches me out to ride them at night or in low visibility situations
Be sure to subscribe if you liked the video!
Wat trail and town is this off of in the U.P?
steven barnette Can’t tell ya that. Don’t need it getting overrun!
Lol i know where it is your lil spot isnt a secret

Thanks to these guys pounding the snow down, I can roam some of that with my 121 inch
Haha you're welcome!
Awesome video, never seen those power lines before.
Thanks! They aren't too easy to get to from any public trails. Some of our private land gets us to a more secluded part of them.
I live in the UP, and rode power line's all over but not these, where is this?
I’ll take one for the team, tell me lol
Matt McHugh Good man!
I found it
Where are these at
My buddies and I are wanting to come up that was for a weekend trip. Is it easy to fond some off trail riding?

You're welcome
No stumps on the Power lines , but beware of Mystery Rocks and Guide Wires
You forgot to hang on man ? But your machine stuck the landing , 8.4
U need to get a GGB mountain can for the Indy I have one
Yes but it would get annoying he's always on the bar
Swift Snowmobile I’ve though about it, but I ride it on the trails too so don’t want to be obnoxious
Deven Cull If you have one, then it must be good!
Nice!
Arthur Morgan thanks man!

I know where that is 😂 close to home....
Wayne Campeau Sweet! We ride here in the summer too - love this area. Never seen anyone else out here
Snowmobile trail crosses under the lines is really wet and swampy LOL
Other than that looks like a good area to ride 👍
Wayne Campeau much more limited areas to ride in summer because of the swamps - can’t wait to get up there again this winter with the new sled.
Just came home from Munising, I bought a 2019 Arctic Cat XF 8000 Cross Country, ready to rip!!!
Wayne Campeau nice! Sounds like a hell of a sled!
My young friend was killed snowmobiling the powerlines. He hit a guard wire anchored in the ground to brace the poles... RIP > TIM O.

After further reviewing I think I'd rather watch butter melt.Basic and boring but as long as you're having fun that's what counts 😴
Rafter Man Working on it. Thanks for the views!
This my first year of riding and I’m already better then this goof
You must be a natural - post some videos of you riding on your channel, I'd love to see you shredding!
Matt McHugh haha just a joke you’re definitely way better
Matt McHugh that’s a good Idea tho thanks for that
