Dude, you are so freaking COOL!!!!!!! You are the only one who truly has gone in depth with the Inmotion RS. I really appreciate your video. Im actually going to this event called Rider Fest on sunday in Apple Valley at a speedway to test out the RS and the GTR and a couple of other scooters as well, sometimes the only way to get good information is by watching people like you. 😎👊

@GingerOnWheels is there a way i can message you, im having issues on my wolf king gt pro but cant find any resolutions, the rear 2 bolts that hold the suspension/bushing in place are stripped by about 10 threads, not sure how that happened but went to replace bushings and went to reinstall and now there is about a 1/4" gap between the bracket and springs, do i haveto retap the holes? That video was perfect dude. The tear down was what we all really needed to see. Specially since my controller on my RS midnight took a crap. The front motor controller. But Voro motors is sending me a replacement and it’s a 60 amp controller. They said it’s an upgrade. Should be some more power and speed. Great video thanks again, bro.
I enjoyed the tear down 👌🏼. I’ve opened up enough scooters and e-bikes to know that this scooter is all that you claimed. Very nicely configured. Having dealt with a tangle of wires on most rides, makes this scooter look real appealing 😄.
This past week i almost pull the trigger on the Segway GT1 that went on sale for like $1900 in 5 payments, but then i saw a teardown how dificult is to change the controller, battery, motors and tires and that stopped me. I am glad i did because now after seeing how this Inmotion RS is built in the inside anh how easy it is to repair and range i will be on the lookout when it goes on sale and get me one!
Right now you can use the Coupon GINGERMIDNIGHT at Voromotors and get $500 off, but it's only for a certain number of RS until preorders stop. The Voro version is UL certified, too. bit.ly/InmotionRS
Just got the haze blue which is the latest version. The twist throttle has been replaced with a thumb throttle. There's a battery operated headlight (flashlight) attached to the handlebars. The kickstand is functional and sturdier than the original version. Seems to me everything else is pretty much the same. No complaints from me, great scooter. (Five Stars)
The Inmotion RS and the Kaabo Wolf King GTR are my favorite two e-scooter on the market. I have a Kaabo Wolf Warrior X Plus that goes 44mph+ which is fast enough for me and $1,600 is enough for me too, but those 2 scooters are great for up to $4,000
Thanks for going into the build a little more than others cudo for that , be nice to know things like bms ,and controller, and cell type ,but.. I digress . My scooter is mostly done . It pulls harder than my 85 v-max seems to do ! The range is more than I was hoping for !
Whats the best way to charge a inmotion rs scooter. Drive it to is low then charge or charge it after every ride. Will it affect the battery. Thank you
Planning to buy a used one of these on marketplace! I like how i can use the app to check out the battery health and charge, etc! But what I am afraid of is the factory reset feature? What does that do exactly? Does it reset the mileage on it?
Thanks for sharing....have you done a controller replacement on one of these yet? Got a 117 code ...InMotion says it's an ad controller....wondering if taking the deck off and plug and play would be sufficient or is the job more in depth?
As far as I know it's plug and play. 3 phase wires and two power wires. I haven't done it myself though. Check with the inmotion rs Facebook group. People there have done it
So I have the inmotion rs midnight lite and I have blown the front controller and inmotions warranty process is pretty silly they just wanted a picture of the error code 117 but the kicker is says in stock on their website and it's not same with the thumb throttle I agree the scooter is well built but they definitely have to figure out why the costrollers go bad I only had regen on the stock 50 percent as I fried a rovoron controller by having regen on high it would be wonderful if a scooter manufacturer could make a truly bulletproof system
I like the video I’m trying to get one Question for you can the throttle be changed for thumb throttle. I’m asking because, I’m comfortable with thumb throttling.
Would you recommend this scooter? Is this a quality bulit scooter. Would this also be a good communiter for work. Also is it good in all weather conditions?
Another great video from Ginger on Wheels. Thanks dude! Great to see you back. Agree with you on the robust design. Wow! 5a of headroom on charging! Well constructed battery/BMS enclosure. Yep, looks like a great scooter. I will say that while I like a dual stem fork style front end on a scooter and one that's adjustable to boot. I do not care for the handlebars that sweep so radically backward. This also seems to take away some of the space between the rider and the handlebars and that space for me is a crucial spec. I need to be able to stand back away from the front of the scooter comfortably with my feet sufficiently set apart without having to ride my rear foot onto a sharp rising rear platform piece at the rear of the deck, with my arms about 75% extended to the handlebar grips. But, I would have to see it close up and stand on it to see how it feels when I am in attack position. It actually looked okay when you were riding it but I don't know where your feet were. Maybe when you do reviews you could always give the deck dimensions and also stand on it with your hands on the grips with a good side-view shot so we can see how roomy or cramped the rider may or may not be. Other than that, the scooter is killer.
Keep in mind. This is scooter in the video is the pre-production model. Then one you get as much better. Night and day. Be careful and connecting the wires. The computer is very sensitive. One wrong move and it will send a code It will be 3 weeks before you get another computer because it will have to go through warranty.
I wish the new productions would show this display, i just got the haze blue, and it doesn’t show this same display, like when u want to see if you on fwd or RWD or DWD. And the battery display is different then this one.
