    That sucks man, this is really proof that customer service AFTER the sale is the most important thing. Especially since most scooters are drop shipped from China to their USA wearhouses/retailers and its up to the retailer to do the final quality control checks ( if any ) before its shipped to the customer.

      @KingElfin absolutely, VoroMotors has definitely been there for me. They have given me warranty replacement parts before sending the request over to Inmotion with my data proof.
      Its one of the reason i keep doing business with VoroMotors.

    Oh man that really is an unfortunate solder job. And that red wire didn’t even look like it had any solder on it at all. More flux lol.
    Hopefully you can get it all resolved. That’s a huge battery. Were you getting the voltage read directly from the battery leads?
    It’s great you document these things so well because it not only covers you but also helps InMotion out so they can ensure this isn’t an isolated incident. Good thing Voro is pretty close to you. Always nice to have a physical location to visit.
    And I definitely hear you on there being no perfect scooter. This is basically the first model year so issues will surface.

      @tomsgadgetgarage yep. I hope it gets better cause the RS is definitely an amazing scooter. It is unfortunate that this happened, i just don't want to be blamed for this since voro knows i mod my scooters i never leave them stock. 😅 as for the voltage read out, yeah i did a direct battery check and on video i did the check through the driveboards. VoroMotors is about 25 miles away from my house so ill definitely go ask for help on Tuesday.

      @DeeBatch that Apollo City is nice! And yeah man i dont blame you for getting discouraged to buy an RS specially after what i showed. Who knows how many others have experienced this at such a low mileage and even before the warranty expires but not show it on social media due to feedback they will probably get from other users. I take care of my stuff my my cars, always cleaned up and maintained well so it keeps working. I literally just did the brakes on it too only to just give me less than 40 miles before this happened.

      @@DeeBatch that's right! I should visit the max G2 and see what performance i get out of it. It is fully updated too to the latest firmware.

    Think your BMS might be blown? Also I'm going to check all our wires, see if any are damaged and shrunk wrapped like that again thanks for the heads up.

      @ScootaGang no problem man, im glad i can help in any way possible. Hopefully your wiring is ok. As for the BMS, i was talking with Levin from VoroMotors and he reassured me that the battery is fine and that the reason its not showing me any voltage is due to its protection which needs to apparently receive the ok from the central controller in order for it to release the voltage and power on the Sinewave controllers. I sure hope he is right lol. They did tell me if the new central controller i just installed snd the new Sinewave controllers i just received today dont solve the problem, they will go with the next step which will most likely be the battery.

    Check voltage inside on the cells.Check fuse,mosfet trransistors or wires in BMS module.
    If the battery and controllers are OK then the reason is rust or brake,short in the motor.

      @xerejuneseve6333 yeah the battery is good so looks like the head tech from VoroMotors was right about the voltage protection feature on the battery.

    I have a question, I have the RS Lite, but why does the app show me in km, either the distance traveled or the speed, and not in mph, only in the app. Because on the dashboard it is in mph, how can I change it so that the app shows mph?

      @jesusmolina3934 hi, sorry for the late reply. Under the Inmotion app select the (Me) icon on the lower right side and then change the Metric/Imperial Units to Imperial and the app will start to show you MPH instead of Kph. Hope this helps. 😁👊

      @jesusmolina3934 Hmmm, It shouldn't make any noise at all. Is it like a high-pitched sound? It could just be current flow, but i never noticed mine do that. If it was the brakes themselves, i would recommend getting a 5mm allen key and readjusting the brake caliper so the brake pad doesn't rub against the rotor, but i dont think the brake light should make any noise. 🤔

      @jesusmolina3934 ah in that case, yes i have heard mine do that but in all honesty im not sure if that's normal for this Inmotion because on my Segway GT1 and Segway Max G2 it doesn't make any static noise but then again the GT1 and Max G2 only have 1 led light for the brake light and the RS has a LED light strip wrapping around the inside of the brake light assembly with multiple leds.

    When everything was "working properly", did you get a random 008 error code while braking occasionally? It's doing that on my scooter while regen, and im afraid it may be the cable, as the error code is battery related.....

      @TakumiDaisuke it didn't for me. This whole thing was like literally 1 day to the next. I was definitely very surprised and even asked if it could have been the direct sunlight it was exposed to that day for 2 hours and 15 minutes, and i was told no from VoroMotors. They said it could have just been a defective part that just wore out too soon at this point but was covered under warranty for the next parts being sent, which are the driveboards now. 2 if them are gonna be heading my way to replace the front and rear driveboards. Hopefully that fixes this.

      @TakumiDaisuke i have a intermittent issue with code 008 dont know if it was from regen braking it would should up while im riding it then it’ll be gone if a few seconds and i also have SOC warning when i ran the battery down to 18% but it didnt shut off i manage to get it home and after disconnecting my phone to the app and connecting again it was gone and charged my scooter i thought inmotion is a premuim brand and company i guess not😂 are you having any issue with yours besides 008 code?

      @cocoabiscuits yep. It definitely falls on Inmotion here and not VoroMotors. Thankfully, though, with VoroMotors as my dealer, they can stand behind me on this and make the request for this replacement part. So lets see how this goes.

    Whoa...
    Luis, it sucks that they sent you a hacked cable. However, there is a similar situation I've experienced with those jy waterproof style connectors with my razor exr builds.
    The copper wire in each of those connectors are an extremely thin wire and is prone to breaking easily. I'll shoot a video of what I'm talking about from my shop tomorrow and show you.
    But bro...inmotion sending you a cable like that is some bullsh*t...

      @LloydTucker-r7v yeah, im usually pretty chill and relaxed but seeing a cable like that was pretty messed up. The main reason i was angry is because i have people in the comment section blaming my mods/ accessories that aren't even connected directly to the scooter battery as the reason my RS broke and nothing except turn signals were added to only the rear driveboard so only 1 should have failed if anything.
      Ive also been in contact with Inmotion about what i did a d they re assured me that no what i did wouldn't have caused that and it was probably just a failure from a chip that was supposed to be able to handle the load but didn't. They just cant explain the front one failing but then i also showed them the cold soldered cable they put in it snd then i got complete silence from them lol meaning they probably know that a weak connection point like that could cause a failure like that and not even know until the scooter is practically taken apart just to find the problem.
      Thankfully VoroMotors has been very supportive and they have already gave me a tracking number for those driveboard sinewave things. I hope this fixes the problem since i did get a replacement harness as well. Even Inmotion sold me a set of front and rear wire harnesses.

    My friend he have the inmotion rs for 1 month and he replaced the rear motor, something melted, he also replaced control and control wires, and now he need a new battery 😔

    Would you say that is also a fire hazard? Definitely unprofessional from inmotion, hope they can redeem themselves by doing right and sending you replacements.

      @beerussama7093 it could have been. There is a warning label on the battery that states to keep it away from direct sunlight. I really am wondering if taking it to them Gym the last time having it in direct sunlight really caused this. I won't know for sure what the problem is until i bring it into VoroMotors and have them try out new driveboards, and if that doesn't work, a new battery. I was told by someone today that there is apparently a relay inside the battery that makes a click sound to turn the power on the battery to the Driveboards so maybe its that but hard to tell at this point.

    Smh thats sucks, i already have them send me a new front motor, since less then 200 miles on mines the front motor started to experience squeaking noises. I guess bad bearing, i had to send them videos and convinced them that is bad to send new motor. Inmotion customer service its not too good specially when u all the way here in the USA.

      @tiggy1559 Yeah. Thats one of the reasons i chose voromotors since they are about 25 miles away from my house. So far, they have been treating me very well. I should hopefully receive these new Sinewave controllers by Saturday. I really do hope that fixes everything, lol. Crossing my fingers to the point of breaking them off.

      @facsimile-io3dd yep. Im pretty disappointed in that cable as well. It was not even properly soldered, and it looks like it was cold welded as you can even see the strands on one side of the red wire because it didn't get any solder. A poor connection on a wire can cause lots of trouble, like random disconnections due to less resistance running through the cable because of the poor soldering job. 😬🙏
