A showcase of old maps of Newcastle upon Tyne, in the North East of England, from 1610 through to the early 20th Century.
Each map is from the Newcastle Libraries' Collection, showing development from a small town with town walls and a few remaining Roman structures, to the bustling powerhouse of the Industrial Revolution which earned its city status on 3rd June 1882.
