@@Struzzylive Obviously not. I commented precisely because I have never seen hacks as well done as the latest ones released. What I want more is for them to continue!
@@enzof_ranciscoTotally agree. Luigi's Ghost House came out recently, I hope you've checked that one out. 26 (I think) floors of a haunted mansion with Luigi using SMB2 JP physics. Super difficult, but very addicting.
This is some of the most kickass NES music I've ever heard. And why does the CVIII level clear music sound so right even though it's completely out of place? lol
Such is the brilliance of Castlevania's music. It has such a diverse ability to be used in everything from Super Mario Brothers to Metroid hacks and beyond.
This has a really great aesthetic and the sound remixes are pretty cool, but I feel like the level design is a bit too kaizo for my mediocre prowess at video games.
I really liked the way panic at the disco was implemented as real music that really blew my mind and it’s a very cool technique that should be included more really enhanced that final level
Super Mario, (almost) all stars. This is way above and beyond any SMB1 hack I've seen yet. ^^ But wouldn't this qualify as a Lost Levels hack, since it uses stuff found only in that game, like upside-down/red Piranhas?
The title screen and music are very good (the music reminded me of Zen Intergalactic Ninja). I wish it wasn’t a hack of Mario, but it’s own game. Or at least they should’ve used Metroid as a base game instead.
Beat this one other day was quite the challenge another really smashing hack but not quite as trying as party bros that is hard they have really come a long way
I think the level designs are good, though it probably isn't meant for casual players. It feels like it was designed for people who thought SMB2J was too easy.
Despite the retarded "git gud" comments you'd expect, I thought there could have been more... something to the level designs. I'm not even sure "what", just "something". Like the one level with Hammer Bros and the brick wall background looked too much LIKE the Hammer Bros and brick wall levels.
So happy to hear new music in the original SMB. Why a lot of romhackers almost never touch music?
Because music composition is a completely different skill set.
Because hacking the game is a heck of the hard work itself.
What are they doing with Super Mario Bros. hacks at the moment? One more incredible than the other, unbelievable!
I mean, would you want it to stop?
@@Struzzylive Obviously not. I commented precisely because I have never seen hacks as well done as the latest ones released. What I want more is for them to continue!
The title of this rom hack needs work tho .. instead of Astral they should've called it Super Mario in Astral world

My god, I didn't expect that starman theme to go THAT hard.
You had me with that Genesis/Mega Drive _Alien 3_ OST cover in the underground levels.
I like the Alien 3 Genesis music!
That stage theme kinda sounds like the Mission Impossible theme.
...what have they done to my ninja turtle backgrounds
Wooow The music kicked me so hard so badass!!! Great job pure retro 8 bit retro timeless vibe
Love the soundtrack and ending. Top notch hack.

And here I was wondering how a hack of this old ass game could be good. Blew me away!
At this point i feel like mario hacks aren't even gonna feel like mario anymore 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙄'𝙢 𝙝𝙤𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙡𝙮 𝙚𝙭𝙘𝙞𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩!
The music gave me vibes of Chris Huelsbeck in Great Giana Sisters

skill issue
Git gud
is Studx using a SunSoft sound chip to get the sound like that?
The yellow added to Mario's sprite on his overalls and shirt looks great! I'd love to see what Luigi looks like for this hack!! :D
I see this and my mind goes Mario X Cyberpunk, for some reason
You're not alone.
The Star music was hype AF
Wow, this hack is WILD.
I really liked the way panic at the disco was implemented as real music that really blew my mind and it’s a very cool technique that should be included more really enhanced that final level
Is it me, or does the sound driver sound similar to Gimmick's?
It definitely sounds Sunsoft-y. It's the bassline, mainly. You can find a similar one in other Sunsoft games, like Fester's Quest for instance.
It reminds me of Journey to Silius and some european nes games too.
When are you going to upload the soundtrack for this game? The world NEEDS it!!
I've uploaded it to my channel
Jogo do Mário me lembra a infância. TOPPP
Very impressive hack, specially the music 🤩. Is very rare to find new music in Nes rom hacks.
Good music!!! :D
You are always releasing new things for us! Thank you very much! 😍👍
The ending animation is insane

It's SMB1 but cooler. The invincible bgm is great you should release a bgm pack
It's on my YT

Se o jogo do Mario fosse feito pela Sunsoft kkkkkkkk
Title theme : Fortress 2 Blue - The Profound
Stage clear ost : Castlevania III - Stage Clear
Nice!
What’s the music at the end of the stage? It sounds so familiar!
I think that's the Block Clear music from Castlevania 3...
If Super Mario Bros. were made by Finnish C64 demoscene coders.
Sorprendente es hack se ve y se escucha muy bien
Wow! Amazing Ending Animation 💯👏🏻 simulated 3D in a NES...
Sci-fi Cyberpunk 3000 Mario... 😎
This smb hack definitely feels like a sunsoftized version of smb1🤣

What is this madness?! ❤
But platform resemble of 8bit megaman
Que hermoso es juego mod ❤

Que bonito!
Gay lord !!!! Mario & Luigi 🇲🇺💀💀
music is nice but VERY out of place
Hermoso
its a real shame it has garbage level design

@@JinzoCrash I know the comments are bothering you, but you did *not* have to call them the R word, just saying.
