i love you three so much!! im very open about being poly so as soon as i develop a crush on someone, i start talking about how i view romantic love and what type of relationship works for me even in group hangs so the person will be caught up with it. that way, if something ever happens between us, theyre already aware of it. ive never been in a position where i have to break it down to a partner that i dont wanna be exclusive cause i start the communication way early. i guess the key would be to make sure your partner understands its not about them not being enough or whatever, its about you not being comfortable in a monogamous relationship.
