Everyone I was watching 2016-2018 already refused to purchase from his brand. I think I was only seeing any of his products in pinterest “dupes”. Also, I feel like I’m constantly on the verge of getting the Mac Mineralize Skin Finish.
Never been tempted by any of these products. The made by mitchell curve case always looked so appealing but that's just because I like the colors and packaging. I don't like cream products and I definitely have all of those shades in powders. It would've gone moldy and unused in my collection as well.
I really like how you don’t follow the trends when it comes to both the type of makeup (ie cream vs liquid vs powder face products) and the style of makeup like 2016 full glam vs the “clean girl aesthetic”. (Even he name of that makes me cringe tbh). But anyway I love it how you just know what you like and don’t follow the crowd! I personally love cream products for cheeks like bronzer and blush and highlighter but it all seems to be about liquid now and cream and powder is uncool apparently. Trying to work with the liquid blushes but they’re just TOO pigmented honestly and I feel like they make me look like a clown as I’m very fair-skinned but I’m sorta gaslighting myself into thinking well I must just not be getting it or bad at makeup etc for wanting to stick with cream or powder. But I gotta remember that once it’s on your face no one will know at all what you used!! I swear these beauty trends are just toxic and encourage overconsumption. I like a fresh, natural look but I also love more colourful and dramatic eye looks with a beaming from space highlight and a bold brow and I don’t like that that’s kinda shamed now you know?! Anyway I just wanted to say I really appreciate your message and it’s encouraging me to just do what I like and wear what suits me and makes me happy (also not a fan of this obsession with dewy skin these days as I feel it’s just taken too far and everyone is walking around looking like an oil slick…). I’ve used the flawless filter by itself and finished it over a year ago and miss it a lot.. since I never use foundations I found it gave me a glow while still looking like my skin (I’ll definitely buy it again) And I’m definitely interested in buying the bronze and glow (I love subtle makeup)
I didn't want the Essence highlighter because 1, I think it is too dark for me, and 2, I don't like highlighter usually and if I do wear it, I want a super bright one, not a subtle one.
I don't own any of these products they're not for me either ! I think you have more of a cool undertone, cool colours suits you better and your skin and hair aren't particularly warm :)
I seem to have very yellow undertones in my skin. I always wear warm tone foundations and my hair has a ginger tone to it. It's very strange that I love cool tones so much haha
I have a couple of shades of js lipsticks the formula isn’t too bad but I don’t get the shades for the collection aspect of it I mainly just get shades that I will use and but the shades that he has is fun and I love fun makeup (to me it’s just makeup at the end of the day and I just like the makeup because it’s up my alley formula wise not necessarily because of the person behind it)
I can't support a brand with a bad brand owner! I'm very passionate about voting with your money and supporting ethical people! But the makeup does look nice

I'm too self conscious of my acne to wear those types of products alone! But I wish I could haha
