For marking the pretty containers, I've seen a few youtubers put some beige masking tape on the side and mark on that!! A good way to see progress without damaging the packaging 😊

you can simply mix your 2 foundations in a 3rd container and then use it daily 16:08

Also, yesterday I finished my Nyx Bare With Me concealer, and have hit pan on another eyeshadow in my Blend Bunny Blends palette. 😊💚 Although this is all organic use because I have a small collection.

Just a thought maybe this foundation in particular is one that works better with a beauty sponge rather than a brush or at least that’s my thought just because every review I’ve seen on this foundation when people use a brush it tends to look patchy when they build it up but I also feel like you’re right in saying that it needs powder afterwards

Steady progress is good, your doing good. I love ColourPop lip liners. Urban decay liners are great they transfer and they last. They're pricy but you get a ton of product in my opinion. They're worth the splurge. I've only used the black up, but it did take forever 😂

You can use the black eyeliner all over the lid for a base with a dark smokey eyeshadow look. It can also be under a metallic or shimmer shadows to make them look darker. Great way to use it up faster.

Totally agree with you on Natasha Denona, tried a few things but didn't love it.. It's just not good enough for the price! Also, I had the same thing happen to me as what happened to you with Alter Ego with a different brand. They were excited to send me some PR up until I sent them my adress and I never heard from them again (I'm in the Netherlands).

I’m sorry you didn’t get your PR from Alter Ego, but again, PR comes with no strings attached and is a business move. They have the right to change their mind🤷🏻‍♀️ ghosting sucks so bad though, how hard would’ve it been to say they changed their minds?

Glad I'm not the only one who doesn't get the hype around Natasha Denona brand. I've tried over 10 different products from the brand(mostly eyeshadow palettes of different sizes) and the only product I liked was matte foundation they don't even make anymore. 🤷‍♀️

Oh wow, I’m glad you didn’t buy Klarity. That’s too much for shipping. I want to say they’re even pricey to get shipped in the US. I think it was at least $10 when I was ordering from them. I got 4 palettes from them. One, a single shadow exploded after being double bubble wrapped and handled delicately during a move. A lot of the other shades were those kind of wet feeling eyeshadows so there was no saving it. It was $45. And then 2 out of the 3 other ones I have have at least a shade that is pressed similarly or just messily pressed. They have some pretty shades, but there are much better indie brands. I will not be buying from them again. I saw they still have the messy pressing when I was watching someone review their most recent set of palettes.

Started writing a really long comment and accidently deleted it. Was something along the lines of, agree with you on a lot of these points. Chantechialle (or however it’s spelt). Gorgeous packaging but I’m not about to remortgage my house for a beige/brown eyeshadow quad, even if it dies have a beatiful elephant on the front. Beside, it probably is that softer ‘flattering’ makeup style (no texture/sparkle) Testing on animals - can’t believe in this day and age big brands still do this (or any fir that matter). Surely there’s other ways round it? Surprised at Mac, I totally didn’t know they wern’t cruelty free. Dont have much from them but do have a blush that all the beauty gurus were reccomending about 5 or so years agp. Warm soul, that was it. Not even a favourite really ,I hsve blushes I like better, but I bought it because of Samantha Ravandahl et al. Natasha denona - I kind of love her and I have some palettes and lip products that are some of my absolute favourites. But I am a very basic B. And indie brands will always be better at the shiny, sparkly, duo-chrome goodness and the most ‘exciting’ colour stories. It’s totally OK that ND isn''t for you, there are plenty of other brands out there that will be for you and probably at a lot more reasonable prices in many cases. I’ve recently dipped my toes into more indie eye shadow brands and I adore them. But will probs mainky stick to Natasha Denona for work and stuff, as I work in a hospital and wear a uniform and I tend to just blend in at work. But I adore eyeshadow and can be seen wearing duochromes when out walking the dog and around the house

Morphe is so shady... i never brought from them, their vibes were so off even in their golden era, and the whole formula change with carmine is unnacceptable.

I hate that cruelty free doesn't also mean no animal products. What pissed me off even more was L'Oreal claiming their product was vegan when it was tested on animals. It pissed me off so much I had to block the ad.

When I first went cruelty free I missed maybelline, LOreal and Nyx but now I see their releases and easily pass over them, there so many other products there’s really no excuse to not save the bunnies! 🐰✨

I think I subscribed in 2022 and since then you have grown so much, I’m really happy for you ☺️ If you are keeping a few projects, these are my favourites; pan that palette, pan that face palette, project level up, project 10 pan and then you could keep the pan that palette in order project as something that you update casually maybe every 2 months or so x

I don't understand how people buy from Shein and trust the products, especially when you put them on your face and near your eyes. I swear there has been a lot about the products being found to have hazardous materials in them (like poop). It's a huge gamble. I just had a bub and I was recommended to get a baby carrier from Shein, but products sold in Aus have to meet certain standards and so many elements of products from Shein are questionable, such as the material having chemicals that can cause injury. That is putting the unethical aspect aside (although things sold here by big and small companies are sometimes unethically sourced and contribute to fast fashion).
