I have a 2016 Kia Sorento, V6 and I haven't had any of these issues. I've had it for 6 years. The problems I've had are minimal but the biggest issue occuring in the last year and a half is with the brakes feeling spongy and griding even after new brake pads, rotors and master cyclinder replaced and the fromt and rear lights coming on when I'm not in the vehicle.
The engine in my 2016 KIA Sorento blew up at 55,000 miles. Thank goodness it was a recall. Now the car will not shift out of park and I have to use a screwdriver to push in the shifter release.
I have a 2016 Kia Sorento SXL V6 that I bought in 2018 with 29K miles on it. It now has 141K. I was taking it in for servicing because the power steering went out without warning 3 times within the last 300 miles. I would have to turn it off and on to get it back. It does not use power steering fluid because it has a power assist EPS system (whatever that is). Today while in route to the dealer it went completely dead and I was lucky to pull over and restart it. When i did, it had such a loud knocking sound that nearby people turned around in notice. I made it home and had it have it towed in. When I arrived at the dealer, he started it up and said it sounded like catastrophic engine failure. I won't know more until next week. The only other problem I've had was the parking stick thing that you had to use the screw driver with shift out of gear. I have a full panoramic glass roof, but it hasn't had any cracking problems. I don't want to jinx myself by talking about it. 2 months away from the final 6yr note and don't want to buy another car right now.....smh..
This video does not specify is the engine is the 4 cyl or 6 cyl model. What about later models, like the 2020? Does that year and the 6 cyl have the same problems?
I have a 2016 Kia Sorento T-GDI 2.0... there are 7000 miles on my third engine. This one has a knock. They are about to put in a fourth engine. I am looking into legal options. There is a class action lawsuit you can easily find with an online search.
So far my 2016 (V6) Sorento engine has been running fairly well but I did have several other non-engine repairs costing me near $5,000. I now have 50k miles on it and feel like I shouldn't have ad to spent that much money on repairs yet. My next car will probably be a Toyota or Lexus. Not going back to Kia.

These cars are all daily driver and I will never buy another one if those claims are true!

Human life is full of issues..what more an automobile. Human recall to hospital, vehicle recall to workshop!

Kia are okay anything can have have an issue! Look @ Audi its the people who drive them !!!!😂😂😂😂
