before fixing reactor, it's nice to have ready up fuel tanks around. Once in there open the fuel switch so that some fuel that is already in the ship will go up and slow the countdown but it meltdown is still there and it will be very slow "as long as there is no coolant". If there is no coolant but some fuel, I suggest to fix the cooler first.
To change the ai mood to "bored". I make the ai to get emotional breakdown by screwing up the traits. Then reset the ai by pulling the lever behind the screen. To also get other moods, I also reset the ai and starts from net trait-0(bored mood), it's much easier and simple that way. Hope this help!
Taking Paul to the void first is probably the most obvious thing to do, that's what I did as well.🤣 Considering he was going on about offing himself before the "accident", he seemed like a good candidate for the willing initiate. I'm glad you had some experience with the dreaded 0 0 0 reactor (0 fuel, 0 coolant, 0 reactant) before they extended the time for it. 😁
@@Zahait It's not so bad once you know what to do but I do understand not wanting to restart the run since I'm kinda getting burned out by that after 17 runs of varying length.
@Zahait that must be close to getting the true ending then or there's a lot more cut than I thought. Haven't been paying to much attention to deaths though.
Before opening the reactor, you have to switch off the coolant (pull the lever to the bottom) and switch off fuel (push the button UP). You forgot the turn the fuel off, so it exploded instantly.
the reactor ones are very hard. read the manual before. The Ai is fixable, you didn't cause an emotional shutdown. the xp, you cant click one or all will reset the power. What i have learned on the reactors is that you have to fix the fuel and coolant which one is missing or both but i have not been able to survive
Clifford wasn't nice with you. No bug there, you just didn't understand how to fix him. Lots of things didn't go well : - The pancake was wrong, so the XP were not working - You triggered an overload with the XP injection (not enough energy) - You failed to reset it because the fuse was tripped It's okay, you'll do better next time ^^
The worst part is seeing these for the first time and not understanding what it is supposed to look like, I think I’m starting to get the hang of the AI now finally!

Seems like if you are actually able to that pulling the core out is the best thing then you have all the time in the world to fix the rest, no stress

I’ve learned this too, definitely the right strategy 💯

Reactor is brutal! I have just been actively avoiding them now 🤣

I think I’m currently on run 19..?

I haven’t come close to the ending yet I’m just awful and have to keep restarting 🤣

So close.. Couple more tries and I’ll be a master 😝

you can put 1 xp too, you just have to adjust the power accordingly (it's in the manual)
@George_V123 oh yes I’ve found it now!
the pancake on the ai has a slider next to it which should be enabled
The pancake is also supposed to be correct 🤣

My hero!

you turned off the cooling in the tractor, read the instructions
I did! And I’m pretty sure it says turn off the fuel switch and reduce the cooling to minimum before removing the reactor! Is that not what it says? 😂
@@Zahait The fuel was actually ON. The button has to be UP instead of down before opening the reactor.
You need to do the ice cooling first before you could do the reactor
No, you can remove the reactor core without coolant. Once the core is removed, you have all the time to fix the fuel and coolant.
You just have to do it right 😅
i was first🙂
And second too from the looks of it!
i was first🙂
Thanks for your support!
