I just upgraded from an '17 Explorer to the Expedition XLT. Love the truck!! It's actually better fuel than the Explorer 3.5L I had and certainly quicker for such a large vehicle.
I got my XLT with a couple of other options namely 202A, driver assist and voice activated GPS. This package gave me almost a Limited without paying the Limited price!
The air conditioned seats are fantastic (live in S. Florida)! Absolutly love this vehicle and it maybe big but drives like a large saloon car.

That is how I feel, I bought one for my wife this week with the same setup. XLT 202A is the way to go, at $700 it's easy to see the benefit of the driver package.

I did want to know if the XLT has front parking sensors that Will alert me if I get too close to a car while parking? I know it has it in the back along with the back up camera.

No, unless you get the Driver Assistance Package and then they will come with the Collision Warning with Brake Support. Otherwise, they are standard on the Limited.

Long, thank you for the reply. Will this collision warning work if I'm parking and getting to close to the car in front of me. The reason I ask is because I love the Expedition but to know that I cannot get the enhanced park assist or 360 camera as option with the XLT trim is very disappointing. Parking such huge vehicle you would think this would be an option for a customer but on the other hand if the collision warning works while parking and having back up parking sensors then that will work for me.

I'm not positive that the collision warning gives you the forward sensing system. I will see if I can find a vehicle with this package and test it out. I will post my findings here.

Why did ford remove ambient light and power adjustable pedals in 2021? My 2021 expedition 202a pkg dosen't have it😡😡😡

They did the same with the adaptive cruise control. They remove some features from the XLT trim. One of the reasons many kept their 2018 instead of upgrading to the 2019, 2020, 2021. But they are back for 2022.

@@longmcarthurford in the xlt 2022 the adaptive cruise control is only available in the special edition pkg. Also the ambient light is only ice blue. I have a question. Can u change the colours of ambient lights in the upper trims? And can i get the led drl in xlt 202a pkg with out the special edition pkg or i l need to have the special edition pkg? I hope you reply

@@areebainulhaq1233 correct adaptive cruise control is in the special edition package just like in 2018 is was part of an extra package as well. Ambient Lighting is Ice Blue on all trims where available. Daytime running lights are standard.

@@longmcarthurford so the drl in xlt 202a are exactly same as the platinum. The led ones? Or the xlt will have the orange drls like the 2021

@@areebainulhaq1233 All Expeditions get Configurable Daytime Running Lights. When you add the Special Edition Package to the XLT 202A you get upgraded LED Headlamps and LED Signature Lighting. I'm not sure how that will affect the DRL. Little note to the LED Signature Lighting as of this week, they will be removed because of part holds. That is on all trims with Signature Lighting, they will be removed as of June 1, 2022. Hopefully they will be back on the 2023 which should be able to order in June.

I assume it is located similar to the F-150 behind the front bumper on the driver side.
