@@blitzcrank4840honestly at that point, let people who farm buy the wards. So the support can get some gold items as well. Heck let the support get some farm early on, for good fast itemspikes to accelerate the game, but don’t force them even back then, to perma buy wards.
I think even nowadays support shouldn’t be the one buying pinks, it should be people who farm of whom this is but a small part of their budget, cause believe or not completed support items habe strong effects.

Im in silver and as soon as LS pointed out the cost of the pink wards and how much it will delay your item I stopped buying two, I only was buying two because pros were doing it and then LS broke it down and made me realize it was wrong.
You can buy two if you don't have one placed already. Having one at hand is really useful
@@PacoReer yes if there is baron or dragon fight coming,there is zero reason to have spare one in laning phase,you either have prio so you can defend the one that is placed or you are under your own tower without ability to place it/defend it.
It's not "wrong". Make no mistake the pros are playing a completely different game than you. What is right for them may not be the same for you and vice versa.

Nope, he was the best shot caller that's for sure but not the best support. He's the perfect player to add to an already great team but if you put him to an average team or just above average, he won't be that good. Zeka, kingen, and pyosik(not as much as zeka and kingen) just went ballistic during worlds 2022 especially zeka that made an above average drx team to a top tier team during that run.

@@matikkkii3482 I would argue it's more fun this way. Vision still matters these days but only when used at the right times/locations. Support is all about setting your team up for a winning teamfight or doing the most damage for the least gold. Not to mention support directs the flow of the bot laning phase.

still, it's worth critiquing because they are at risk of donating gold over to the enemy team, since a control ward costs 75 gold and donates 30, and that if you don't overbuy, you can hit your mythic item 3 -4 minutes faster as a support, because you save about 450 gold, which is a lot of gold for a support.
So unless your getting ready to contest for something, buying a control ward doesn't make a lot of sense.

As a support, yes it is tempting to buy control ward when you back when you can't buy other stuff.
But it's such a stupid decision when you reflect back on the game that you overbuy control ward. It's like reflecting on your poor financial decision this month.
Enchanter has alot more utility item once the item is completed rather than tank support that rely on stat so actually having few hundred gold more when the item is cheap is going to make big diffs especially if the item you buying can have game changing moment in the game
