I ordered a 10 pack based on this video and I really like the product, but I'll add two things: First, they did not come in that nice box with padding, which isn't a big deal since they were intact. The second is a little more concerning, in that they shipped them via media mail. These obviously don't qualify, so the post office put a postage due on the box for over $6. I emailed comic capsule two weeks ago and they never replied. Had they at least replied I would've placed a much larger order. What a shame.
If those fit silver age bag & boards with a comic, I'll get them! I store all my comics in silver age b&b because modern size crimps edges and makes ticks.
After watching this video decided to try them out so just placed my order. Thanks for the review! I have some of the Comic Skin self slabs, but I like the UV resistance and the fact this fits in a short box
I haven't heard of these before man, thanks for making this! I need something just like this for the original oversized TMNT comics, I can't find anything to fit besides getting them graded! 😳🐀
@Stickygoose I was working.on a slab submission then I saw your video. I added up slab submission vs these for my autographed books like Swamp Thing 10 signed bt Bernie Wrightsonand XMen signed by Neil Adam among others and can wait now until after the holidays and I will try these out.
Been collecting for decades. Have thousands and thousands of comics. I've never bricked a comic but regret buy the few bricks I have because you can't access the comics. This may be what I've been looking for.
They look dope I say that much. But did you know at bagsunlimited has a top loader closure clip for the top of a top loader so the contents doesnt come out.
@@Stickygoose you should do a review on them I havent seen anything for them. Additionally have you seen there like some type of silicone type of guard for slabs? They use to be made by a company called slabpro?
What works for me. Is the clear top loader. I place the comic without a board into a mylite2 7inch sleeve. Seal it with two tapes. Then I slide it into the top loader. I get to see both sides. Ands it’s protected. Also fits nicely into my plastic short box with closeable flaps.
These are cool and serve a purpose, but I'd like it more if the top was a little larger, and they had a website with a template where you can print your own grading label to slip in the top.
this is pretty cool I ve looking for. a way to display some of my favorite books. on the cgc pricing its gotten really expensive to grade a book now 25 plus 5 service fee plus 20 shipping . $50 to grade a book and that s not even with a. press add 15. cgc press ive noticed that alot of run filler books are no longer being graded. mostly new moderns that people are Gambling to be hot . and of course keys. are being graded. my question is CGC cases UV rated? I hope cgc case are for 50 bucks lol . these are very cool and I like the labeling sheet they give u . are they going to be at LA comic con I'll get some there if they are at LA
Very nice design with some cool features. It’s also a great price for a low budget wall display. I personally prefer the Gatorguard slabs but those are 4x the price. These wall hanging capsules make more sense than sticking bulky CGC slabs on your wall. Thanks for sharing your honest opinion.
Awesome displays. Unrelated to the topic of this video but for some reason you were always sort of familiar to me mr strap-on sir and I couldn’t put it but I think I know now lol. You remind of this math TH-camr you could be a solid look alike for this Brian Mclogan dude on TH-cam you guys could be brothers with how similar you two look 😂😂😂 #keepthestrapstrongANDon #nobryiwontbuyyourdellottoNFT
I have slabs I want to display buy the plastic stands are cheap and don't love them. I love ECC Frames with the UV, but those are wildly upcharged in priced and you have to assemble yourself. Would love to see comic capsul come out with an actual frame that's UV resistant, durable, clean looking, and more affordable.
This is pretty cool tbf!
they are very nice
Exactly the thing I was looking for to display my keys. Thanks for the video. I just ordered!
Enjoy!
excellent
Thank you! Cheers!
Nice review!
Glad you enjoyed it
Good review.
Thanks appreciate that
Mylar. Nuff said.
Mylar bag and double board all the way with floating shelves. I love the look and simplicity.
Looks interesting. Tell them to send me one, I'm broke until after Christmas..😂
Message me on Instagram
These look nice

should work check measurements on their site to be sure though
I like how you can display them on wall and they don’t look bulky ordered myself and my son couple thanks for the review!
I think you’re gonna love them

I reached out to myself to get a review unit, but never heard back so, my channel is not to that level yet I assume. I'll have to buy some to review.
Great find, dude! I just ordered a 10-pack with that sweet/sticky discount code. Thanks for the recommendation!
That’s sticky icky icky oooo eee
Thanks for the info.. these are very nice
Agreed
These are super cool. Very classy
Glad you like them!

oversized books are hard to find things for period
Just went and ordered me a few just to see how they present. Thanks for the awesome info brother. 👍🏿
I think your gonna love them 👊
I can get down with this. I'm also for being able to read the book anytime I want
That’s the big thing for me
They are great for displaying thicker modern books, too. Just put them in without the bag and board like you would a silver age book.
Forget the comic capsule. Can we get the link for that Superman shirt 😂

Pretty cool! What I want is a short box for toploaders! I will probably get 10 of these though cause I have to try everything at least once! 😂
Except crack
@@Stickygoose maybe its too late! 🤣🤣🤣
Compared to Mylar, how is the clarity in presentation?
Similar
@@Stickygoose Thanks
Damnit Goose you released your review before I did. Good points, I have little bit of different view in what its best use is though.
sorry about that CJ
@@StickygooseThank you for the apology
Bought a 10 pack. Looking forward to checking them out
I think you’re going to love them

@@Stickygoose no worries
Any comic capsule friend of Sticky Goose is a comic capsule friend of mine. Great video!
lol thanks Matthew
UV protection is great. It does need to be a tight fit though
I think if you put a bag and board in there they will
Is that a picture of you on your shirt? 😀
No silly goose I’m not Superman. Thanks for the compliment though!
Do you know how they compare against gator guard?
Never owned one…. Hey gator guard send me something
They look dope I say that much. But did you know at bagsunlimited has a top loader closure clip for the top of a top loader so the contents doesnt come out.
Did not know about that

Seems pretty cool but kinda pricey in my opinion.
expensive hobby
Have you seen gator guards?
no but people tell me about them, maybe gator guard will send me something lol

Promo code doesn't work where I live 😢
Bummer man reach out to them by email they will hook you up I’m sure
I've actually wanted something exactly like this, I might need to buy a pack!
they are very nice
These do look nice. Cheaper than other hard plastic options too with the magnetic one touch closure.
I think I’ve seen those
Is it as rigid as a CGC case? Or is it a cheaper plastic like Rubbermaid bins?
somewhere in between

These are an excellent alternative to slabs

I think these guys would like to hear what you want, they would make them
After the CGC missing coupon fiasco in a graded comic book, I’m more interested in self slap options.
but the toploader is $2!!!!!
Very very true
Expensive! Made in America?
I believe these guys make them themselves
only us
cool but $$$
Expensive hobby all around
Much to expensive.
Comics are not for display, light will damage all your comics on your wall.
comics are not for fun either
If they had golden age ones id be a costumer
