I love the new editing style where you show a little bit of the run between bosses. Makes it more enjoyable than just boss after boss imo
Yeah the story and progression of a run is just as interesting as the hard parts, aggy and Gino's both show all these little moments that really add a lot to their videos. I think editor don't realize I'm here for distortion and not just the run sometimes.

I miss the frenzied command grab one hits on Gideon. It was just so poetic for him to be ranting about tarnished being unable to become lords while you're grabbing his face and poring madness into it.

the riposte would just be the character smashing the bottles against the bosses face

HELL YEAH THIS IS WHAT IVE BEEN WAITING FOR...even without the busted build/ash of war these are such a cool weapon and move set. Its like the ability to use "magic" without costing mp which is awesome. I hope they dont nerf it to oblivion so that its still viable

I liked all the bottles, I just wished we got a pure holy and a pure magic bottle.
Probably the strongest weapon in the game right now...
If you use the broken thing yes, I do kind of want to revisit this run in the future once they presumably fix the buggy interaction.
The strongest ash of war*
The weapon itself is literally a pure elemental dagger with delayed damage.
Only the rolling sparks ash is OP. I did my first DLC run with these and the weapons themselves are very mediocre; low range, long recovery frames and almost no poise damage.
@@ISAACcookie Fr, they seriously need a balance patch. Although dealing pure damage is pretty neat. But in most cases, you can barely hit anything due to the range. Also pray that whatever you are fighting doesnt have back step in middle of their combo.
My favorite tech with these things is to set a trap for an enemy that's charging at you, since it lingers for a while before detonating. Sunflower gets wrecked by this.
Ngl, if they jusb nerf the damage to a reasonable level and make the rolling sparks explosions still activate one after another even if they hit the floor or walls it'd still be pretty fun without being unreasonable

Sadly the perfumed still end up sucking it you don’t abuse the ash of war, but at least they’re kinda cool looking. Trying to play without ash of war and it is miserable
@@slothorne8222aow deffinately ramps them up but the broken damage comes from a bug where you shoot the ground unlocked to the enemy so it detonates all explosions at once. This is a bug and will get fixed. So i hope they bump the damage a bit cause right now they are daggers with slight delay on their damage
@@slothorne8222 Ngl, that's 100% a skill thing. I've been doing the whole game with a Perfumer build, and they are consistently wrecking every enemy that staggers, and pretty easily destroying any enemy with poise. The only thing they struggle against are enemies with high pure resistance to all elements.
Even without the ash, it's doing wild damage on normal attacks.
@@1stoftheFatuiHarbingers playing the game with literally anything else will do more damage, my whip run was better than this. I mean if you want them to stay horrible that’s cool I guess but once the ash gets fixed guarantee no one is using these without a buff
@@slothorne8222 I don't really know what you're trying to say, but whips are great as well. Outside of great damage, they can literally cheese Malenia. Haven't used them on DLC bosses though.
The Rolling Sparks ash of war was recently nerfed, if it's not doing much damage for you well that's the reason
Doing a perfumer run was probably my favorite run and the fact the bottles just flat upgraded them was awesome!

i started my new Char for the DLC as a Perfume cosplay with all the bottels and stuff and i was fucking flabbergasted that i found a real perfume weapon i was SOOOO happy!

the biggest problem outside the range issue is until fully upgraded and at full build they don't do much so much of their dmg comes from the scaling side

1 thing i wish fromsoft did or would update into the game is the ability to find the new weapon types earlier in the base game too. So if you want to do a fresh run you can pick up the Great Katana or the Backhand Blades. Kinda sucks having to wait till Mohg to get those. Unless you just bum rush Mohg and Radahn

Im not complaining at all iv played through the whole game and dlc 3 times since last weekend... im just saying it would of been cool of them to do that for the basic weapons. Ng+ is a thing yes but not what my point was. Dont try get up my ass iv been defending this dlc since it dropped and babies want to complain.

This run was super easy in my opinion. I personally only play souls games blindfolded with my hands dipped in butter, thumbtacks on all input buttons, no headphones only a 1870's era phonograph for audio, shoes on the wrong feet, and no leveling. Idk just feels better imo.

Reminds me of the Whirligig Saw Glitch mixed with the Flamesprayer/Rosmarinus from Bloodborne. Absolutely Bonkers Damage! Would be interested in seeing a Perfume Run without the Broken AoW. Even if they patch it it still works great as intended.

59:50 You can actually out range the shaman on top of that ledge with a great bow. I killed her with Radhan's bow in a few hits and she was unable to even cast any spells at me.

It's very accurate i mean in game or real life. Perfume is AOE attack to whoever nears it.
I did try them on my second playthrough and it took me longer to buff than it took to kill Radhan with those lmao.

I did a run like that Build parfum + Aged One's Exultation talisman (you have to ve "infected" by madness) it's pretty broken honestly (Don't lock the ennemies/boss u just have to be next them and shoot on the floor (The attack is 10 times stronger cos it condenses the attack and makes it more powerful)
Honestly, even if they're currently not great weapons, They're really fun to use, both in pvp and pve
I remember when golden vow used to do the same thing with storm blade, if you used the AoW golden vow storm blade would do no damage lol

I wanted to know; I know that multi hit effects don't affect regular perfume bottles, but do they work on rolling sparks, in which case, it would actually be better to run a build with multi hit talismans and perfume bottle talisman.
When somebody recommended him to do an Axe build, I'm pretty sure it was about the weapon, not the bodyspray...

The time this video got out, the patch was released, about two days but the patch fix a lot of things, but I happy they fix bc you got one shot by host/invader in pvp which was annoying
The dmg of this thing still slaps with the patch can still easily hit over 5k without buffs

It's not a challenge. I have wanted to be a perfumer since base game, this is how i've been doing my first playthru of the DLC. Just pick up rolling sparks and demolish everything. Perfume kicks ass
Rolling sparks was obviously bugged and is fixed now.
