I love how I've seen Neenoh land a shot on a guy dressed like a zombie 200m away, through 6 trees, an acre of tall grass, 12 bushes, and a greasy window... and then you have the idiot savant at 38:37 who's realized that the most effective way to hide from him is to just afk out in the open for a second.

if we did have transportation of some sort from that convo in 2:10 lol i think itd be kind of interesting if we had horse med shot to revive them, and just ride them except they make louder trampling sound than running sounds, and has 100 health so youd need long ammo to kill it effectivley at a distance
A couple of the last few videos were not so great with the over-editing and ruining of the pacing of the action with the same over-editing. But this one was definitely much better as far as that is concerned. There's a difference between removing inconsequential dead time and removing the dead time that is part of the tension build up or conveys what the situation is. Some of the previous videos eliminated some of both kinds seemingly at random, which made them feel disjointed while watching. The cuts in this one seemed better selected and weren't so much as to lose track of what was going on.
We've been adjusting to people's requests ❤. I'm aware of the issues plaguing some previous videos, Neenoh and I set ourselves up for cleaning up the games a bit too much (dead weight). Now we're past that, sometimes it's just difficult to work with the material itself.
Definitely personal opinion, because I on the other hand like what you would call “over editing”. Imo if you want the full video go watch the twitch livestreams? These videos act as highlight reels essentially, most people wouldn’t want to watch Neenoh running for ages and nothing happening I’d imagine so I think the videos shouldn’t change their editing style

But when the title even says "full matches", one would expect to get some feel as to what is going on in the match and the situation they have put themselves in. And this one is probably the best one since Neenoh got an editor so far, so it's good to see improvement. But I will give an example of what I mean by whiplash and losing feel of what's going on. The rest of this post is basically going to be a partial critique of a previous Neenoh video ( th-cam.com/video/vVWWHT6Hye8/w-d-xo.html ), where the cuts are okay for the most part and do cut out a lot of the cruft without losing track of what's going on. That is until combat happens. The cuts just get super aggressive in combats and in the last fight in particular the final guy dies like a second after a pretty egregious cut making it feel anti-climatic. It's like it quickly accelerates into becoming a kill montage video in combats, then snaps back to its senses after the last person dies each time. It's fine cutting out the dead spaces, but being so aggressive with cutting out any time a gun isn't being shot in combat is really weird and jarring when there's so much dead time that is not cut out when no combat is happening. I know combat can drag on in Hunt sometimes, so it can be hard to edit combats just enough to cut out the useless dead time but still maintain some of the dead time that creates the tension and keeps the viewer aware of the ongoing situation. But since combat is also the most interesting part of the game, it's not great to see combat distilled to essentially a kill montage video that removes most of the context of what's going on.

And I agree, it even felt like that sometimes back when Neens was still editing his own vids -- sometimes he overdid it with the condensing. Gotta build that tension arc. Good constructive criticism imho, partner! 🤠
it does. in the keybinds menu you can set an alternate keybind for removing burning, poison, etc so you don't have to use the contextual one. Another cool one is that you can set separate keybind for jumping and vaulting so that you have more control over your movement over obstacles and avoid getting locked into the very predictable vault animations.
I think damage/damage drop-off, it used to just 1 shot everyone every time. but now its not a 1-shot every time (but chest/head will do it especially if you're close-range) especially with limb hits and stuff. but still fun :D
Toggle might get you killed if you panick doubleclick or just misclick when you need to run/take cover and are unwantedly still stuck in ADS.. I'd definitely agree with Jeff that hold is the way to go.

All the matches he did not die, he extracted with bounties. Up until the last one, I did it intentionally to throw you off the usual loop. And it makes the video immersive by not having deaths middle of the video.
The bow should kill on an arm hit if it's within 6 meters or something imo. You should never have a full draw melee distance bow hit that doesn't kill. You have to get lucky on the arrow pull to get the kill because there's no time to do anything else at that point lol.

Flash bombs and self revive, both totally fair and balanced with no issues whatsoever. :)
