kinda wished we wouldnt lose our hunters on death, like i dont mind rebuying guns and tools but man does it suck to lose a hunter that has a decent amount of traits cause one guy was John Wick in the lobby. I'm very much new to this game and it sucks when i get skilled check hard.
Btw I have experienced a total number of zero trades since the last update, this change was must needed. GG Crytek, I am loving all the new content, yeah I know they are going a bit crazy with some new additions and changes but even then I am enjoying Hunt.

Yes, trading IS a problem. It should only happen on longer ranges because bullet travel time, and it would make sense. It does not make any sense at all the way Crytek implemented kill resolving in this game. Its CLIENT SIDE. NOT like CS or other shooters. And no trading like in Hunt is NOT "logical and normal" you have no clue how the tech works. It literally lets you kill people while you are dead. Even if they lowered the timer not, their implementation of this never made any sense. Can you even trade in Counter Strike? I have not played in ages, I do not even remember. It's MILLISECONDS if it would actually be logical, it would be EXTREMELY rare. If they just lowered the timer from 800 to 75 It's still pretty high and still makes no sense. I have not played the new patch. I hope it's better for me just saying what Huuge said in his vid.

Hey hornet since you have an insane amount of playtime with the uppercut, what do you think about the ammo reduction since all ive seen is people complaining saying they absolutely butchered the gun
clown grunts target them , every supply has 3 balloons , there is balloons around the map make sure to get them , the circus has a shooting range with a lot of circus grunts , ursa mortis and the shooting range with like 9 balloons go out of your way to be the first to get them and you will get 100+ points every match. On top of that obviously looting hunters , getting clues and banishing .

Go in as a solo (ideally with necro & serpent). Grab bounty clues if you can, but mostly just sneak around the map to grind monsters and balloons. I usually run a crossbow with half explosive bolts and half steel bolts, and a silenced Nagant with subsonic ammo. Good way to grind up points and pledge marks, and it's decent target practice if you want to get better at chest & headshots
"Nothing special" Has 144 damage. Has dumdum's. Has zero spread when used with event perk. Certainly nothing special, every gun has that, especially dumdum's :D

Yes, but the damage drop off is high. At normal sniping distances you’ll only be doing 57 damage. I would recommend trying the sparks sniper if you like going for body shots.
@ I like it, but it loses damage so fast that it’s really only effective within the damage dropoff unless you go for headshots. I just had to many situations where it didn’t kill when a sparks would have.

Silenced snipers are a bad addition to the game. Anything with zero counterplay is a bad addition to the game. Same reasoning applies to revive bolts. This will only encourage solo snipers to play even more passively than they already do which means fewer fair gunfights and more camping in bushes from a distance
LOL. Of course the second biggest cheater in all of Hunt is saying that this rifle is „nothing special“ it is literally a one tap body shot machine at any range with dumdum. But when you are used to headshotting because of aimbot you don’t care about that 😂👊
Its not a 1 tap at any range because the damage falls off. So if you go over 40 metres the damage from the medium ammo starts to fall off pretty drastically. Youll still chunk them obviously but it wont be in range to make the bleed an issue if theres no threat of a follow up shot.
as far as what you say in the description, that in 90% of situations, you fight close range anyways: for guns like the maynard to be viable, they need to bring back the full double slot quartermaster perk permanently. that gives guns like this a slot in balling on a budget builds. Maynard sniper combined with a winfield+levering is viable but, as it stands, the only true all around close to mid range guns you can run with normal quartermaster are the drilling and the dolch p, and those are just a completely different price point that don't make sense to run with the maynard

Having the best gun in the game for the 15-30 meter range beats having the best gun in the game for the 0-15 meter range. Especially when the dolch is also very good at the 0-15 meter range, whereas the crown is shit past 15 meters.
