WATER FED POLE CLEANING 101 - Beginners Basic Window Cleaning Tips Techniques Hints

In this episode of The 4X4 Window Cleaner, I'll show you a few of my basic, but thorough techniques, of using a Water Fed Pole! The techniques in this cleaning situation are examples of how to get great results, but you wouldn’t have to use them all! I admire your pride of workmanship,interesting to see a different method from mine.
Personally for first cleans I sometimes use a drizzle of washing up liquid directly on the brush and find that more than good enough for glass and frames nearly every time.Occasionally I use upvc cream cleaner on frames but careful on glass as it’s potentially abrasive.Thereafter just pure water paying particular attention to rinsing edges.
Over time I’ve learned the importance of cleaning the frames often especially above the window as this minimises run down,sometimes I rinse back over as necessary.
I observe other window cleaners don’t bother at all with any of this and when the windows have dried they’re often covered in run down dirt! I can’t work like that,it has to be done right.

It’s a little cheaper to buy mop direct maykker.com/products/hedgehog-washer-sleeve If you see my other content, there’s a how to modify to fit any pole! For chemicals on glass and framework I mostly use Ubik 2000, Viro-sol, and a CLR for water stains etc 👍

@@Damster587 Sure thing, I control water using the uni-valve by Exceed Innovation, they’re based in UK but I believe can be shipped. The valve controller will fit inside the majority of WFP’s. The pole I’m using is by Gardiner Pole Systems another UK company. Much thanks for your Sub 🙂
