    Thanks Dave, great video. I love the noise fan jets make when the flow is high!!!!

    Can't be doing with pencil jets, hate the things! Nice wide fan jets & maximum water flow. Your bang on about cutting off a little bit of the bristles, makes for a nice uninterrupted water flow. Thanks Dave, your always a great help mate 😎 🍀

    Brill stuff again Dave! How do you find the xtreme sill stiff brush? I've used the flocked and medium soft.. I've found the flocked wore down quite quickly.. medium soft ones been brill. Just intrigued about the stiff bristled version.. what's your thoughts?

    • @squeakycleandave1
      @squeakycleandave1  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      To be personally honest I haven’t used it that much. When I did use it I really like it but I just found it to narrow. I will be getting the 35mm Xtreme sill brush when that comes out though

    I only use 14" brushes have done for years, I went from 4 pencil jets, to gardiner rinse bar bar and now I have been using xline brushes with wash and rinse bar integrated inside, they have been super brushes and rinse bar inside the brush is very effective on or off the glass. rinse bar has 11 jet and has good covered over the full brush expensive but all brushes seem to be going up so there not too far out of the average brush buy.

    • @squeakycleandave1
      @squeakycleandave1  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I tried a blind brush years ago and it seemed quite heavy but it was a sill brush. how do you find them for weight?

    • @shaunmcgee5382
      @shaunmcgee5382 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@squeakycleandave1 roughly the same as the ultimate range that gardiner do. I was using the dupont 14inch then they stopped selling them, stumbled on the xline range and not looked back. Started using the flocked version its like the rolls Royce of brushes. Tho you need to be careful on Georgian windows you can catch the alloy cnc rinse bar if you press too hard. I'm using it on the high mod ova 8 22, if anyone is thinking of getting one there great. But need to be double taped from new same as gardiner poles are. Mine has worn dramatically in 6 months of ownership. Lots better now its double taped. (Base and where you want the pole to stop)

      @@shaunmcgee5382 great thanks Shaun. I might look into xline. I will put some more tape on my pole as well 👍

    Alex Gardiner's tools are well thought out for sure.
    Dave there is a special but rare pneumatic 'T' connector that contains a valve.
    It would allow you to switch between two types of jet by turning a knob - this is way easier than disconnecting the alleged 'quick connects' because they get stuck after a while.
    If they work out - I can let you know. Anything that makes us lazier is progress!
    Also thanks to your kick in the butt I went and bought every 12v electrical book on Amazon.co.uk and am descending head first into the scary world of electricals - not as scary as the wiring setups I've seen in some wfp vans though!

    • @squeakycleandave1
      @squeakycleandave1  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I absolutely agree with all you have said. Definitely let me know how the valve goes. Send me a link if you have one.
      Happy wiring 😁

    Hi Dave,what degree would you recommend for a 35cm brush 100 or 50

    • @squeakycleandave1
      @squeakycleandave1  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I like the 100 degrees but it does sometimes need some of the bristles removed to stop the spray from hitting them, but in the end, it does really come down to preference.

    👍✨Do those jets fit on any WFP brush ?

    • @squeakycleandave1
      @squeakycleandave1  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      No most jets are designed for a particular brush. but most brushes will fit any pole but its always worth checking with the manufacturer before ordering.

    Can you run 4 pencil jets and that top rinse bar all together? Or is it better to do just one or the other to keep a decent flow rate?

    • @squeakycleandave1
      @squeakycleandave1  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you could make it work you could do but you would use a lot of water

      @@squeakycleandave1 Which leads me to another question... regarding maximizing water pressure from a spicket... Am I better off running 150 ft of 5/16 hose all the way to the water spicket out the pole or running 100 ft of industrial 3/4" garden hose to my last 50ft of 5/16 water fed pole tubing?
