    Thank you!! I picked up the paint brush tool with noise from you many many years ago....and had bookmarked various videos of you doing it in the middle of something else.
    I'm bookmarking this since it is dedicated to this technique....and will make a great reference for when I forget a thing or two.
    Could you do another one of your amazing deep dives on Dodging and Burning, combined with blend-if tools, etc...your advance dodging and burning really can make pics pop!

    Great idea, thanks for showing it! I have experimented with the high pass filter to capture the noise from the image and it works pretty well but it also captures the edges of objects or between different colors that have to be manually removed. It also works pretty well. Something I have thought about is when retouching analog black and white images, especially if it is from a grainy film, then the level of grey is not a continuous color but actually more or less spaced out black grain. Anyone have an idea how to accomplish that look in photoshop? Is it possible without manually dot each grain particle...

    Audio exported at -21 DB. It should be around - 6 Db for TH-cam. Whoever mixed the audio for this video needs to wake up.
