Suggesting more Maronite-beloved saints for the Syriac Revival: - St. Isaac of the Desert - St. Jacob of Sarug, Flute of the Holy Spirit - St. Narsai, Co-Flute of the Holy Spirit Sebastian Brock has translations of the works of St. Isaac and St. Jacob, and the Syro-Malabar Church has an online translation of St. Narsai's works. Many neglect that the See of Antioch _is_ the See of the ancient region of Syria. So, too, its early Patriarch-Saints are a part of the Syriac tradition as well! Of these the works remain of: - St. Ignatius of Antioch, the Apostolic Father (lived within memory of the Apostles) - St. Theophilus of Antioch I would also honorably mention: - The Disciple, author of _The Book of Steps_ I think this is a work every student of the Syriac tradition should read! Dr. Robert Kitchen has an excellent translation in English, who himself suggests J. F Coakley's _Paradigms and Exercises in Syriac Grammar_ as a companion to the study of the entire Syriac tradition. Peace of Christ with you, Subdeacon!
St Ephrem you've done it again 🙏

Glory to God! 🙏
