I couldn't hear the start at all. My hearing is bad & a noisy library here - but I heard this Annea Lockwood (NZ/US 1939- ) piece with Nate Wooley (trumpet + metal sheet?) on BBC R3's NMS (2021.Oct.09) & was struck by its striking (triple pun intended) timbral subleties. So probably different perfs. So suitably underwhelmed I'll move on, with my thumbs up for the b'cast !!
