I've known about Kenny Wheeler's playing for a while now because of his musical affiliation with Dave Holland and his great album with Dave, Lee Konitz & Bill Frisell. I've recently gotten a hold of a handful of Kenny's albums - What Now?; The Widow In The Window; Double, Double You; Gnu High - modern jazz classics ALL! He's a really wonderful composer, player & bandleader. He must be if he's got Keith Jarrett as a sideman on an album!
