Great video! I built a set of "one sheet" dingys. Took me and my buddy 4 hours to frame them up (in an official wood shop, table saws and all), but man after studying the plans and understanding them, set the table saw blade at the correct angles, they were easy!! Nice boats and a very fun project. I applaud you for embarking on such an endeavor. Here is a friendly suggestion to help the kids out next time. First, there is no quicker way to demotivate a youth than to raise your voice at them when they are struggling to figure something out. Let them struggle with it a while so they can better understand your teachings. Try not to raise your voice unless it's a true emergency. Second, it is best not to have the oarlocks at the same height as the seat. Notice how the oar handles are clearly driving into their thighs/hip bones to the point they are confused. Notice the older kid immediately said, "It's not working right!". And this young sailor is absolutely correct. Kudos to him. Oarlocks should be 6 to 8 inches higher than the seat. Therefore lower those seats and/or raise the oarlocks up on spacer pads. They will notice the benefit immediately!

ugly guality work, not beauty, but working and have good childrens first simple project. thailand i no can made, work has wery simple but here have plywood bad guality and super expensive no can buy. if buy one boat plywood go 2 month salary. too expensive. and same epoxy and glass fiber. no can buy anywere here. only internet but super expensive, and out of thailand if orden come toll and tax 5x more than epoxy cost. no can, no smart. shit country i has moved pension, have good womans and cheap live but if need build somethink no have parts. or super expensive all, 5x more than normal country have.
