Because while watching your videos, I actually feel suspense!!!
How, do you ask?
Because you're not afraid to upload your failures.
Whereas other TH-camrs only upload their successes. So no matter how much suspense they try and imply, you know since they uploaded the video, everything is going to end perfectly.
But watching your videos, I get to legitimately experience the suspense, that other creators try so hard to portray.

I think a lot of youtubers would just decide not to post the video as soon as they realize it won't work. You, however, still post the video even if it didn't quite accomplish what was the initial goal. I love that. It reminds us viewers that some of these great ideas don't always turn out in the end, but that's okay. It makes it seem more realistic and reminds us that on the other side of that screen is just another person. Also, amazing how you still got on TV!!!

I love how costco sells Carpets and rugs for like 30-50 bucks a piece (at least here at my costco and any other around my city), i feel like that woulda been a lot better than a catpiss one lmao

As someone who has been on boats most of my life, I do.find it alarming how many 'lay people' are unprepared when they take a boat out.
Make sure you have enoygh life jackets plus a throwable(this is mandated by law).
Always have a way to bail out a boat effeciently, as well as distress signalling devices(ie flares) which are also required by law.
A handheld VHF radio is great to have for emergencies as you can hail another boat or even the Coast Guard if you are in distress.
Also had a proffesional company like Sea Tow, Boat US given you a tow, they charge a minimum of $600 unless you are a member(about $150 a year) which gets you 'unlimites tows), kind of like AAA for the water.
An anchor would have helped but keep in mind you need at least 6 times the depth of the water in line so it can work properly. (Ie, 50 feet water needs a minimum of 300 feet of line).
Having a back up for propulsion like a trolling motor with a fully charged deep cycle battery(basically a car battery, but better for longer less power loads vs 1 big cranking load)...but that too could easily be overpowered by the wind, where even a 2 hp gas engine would be much better.
Not sure what the California laws are but even the motorized oars in Florida would require the boat to be titled and registered as any vessel that uses a motor is required by law. (I have seen a guy using a modified weed wacker still get stopped to check his registration)
What a kind, gentle, informative way of calling these people future Darwin Award winners.
Not to mention they put a lot of other motorists at risk on the roads as well.
