@@TCL65S421I already have two churches that let me play their three manual pipe and three manual digital organs already so playing a Hammond Organ would be no problem for me to learn. I play by ear and pick up tunes very quickly. I know how it turns on and how to set the keys and drawbars and use the expression pedal so it’s just a matter of transferring my skills from the others and playing some beautiful hymns. I really love it’s beautiful sound.
To the troll who thinks I cannot play a Hammond Organ, stop passing judgement on me. I already play pipe and digital organs at churches that let me use them and it has become a hobby for me so adding a Hammond Organ to the collection would be no problem as I would pick it up quickly like I have done the rest and be making those beautiful Hammond sounds right away. It’s just too bad I do not live where this woman is playing this beautiful Hammond Organ or I would be visiting this church and asking permission to play it too and I’m quite sure they would let me.
I am relearning the piano in the same way. Play a couple of cords and go back and forth on the single notes with lots of repetition and you come out with a great tune right from start. I am looking forward to getting on the organ and making sounds just like Patricia. I am self taught just like her and love it.
I would feel honoured if I visited that church and they let me play that beautiful Hammond Organ.
but you have to know how to play it first
