These are great boats. You just made the 28 look a little more attractive than I previously thought. I still like the 30 more (mostly for cockpit size), but it's a close second. I'd like to see an opening window by the helm to access the midships cleat from inside the saloon.
Nice test. I personally like the rugged character of the boat and her neat design that reminds me the Scandinavian style. The amenities are complete and the level of comfort good as well. At sharp turns I see she takes high inclinations and maybe she needs more lateral support (yes, of course she is not a RIB). Also, the motion form stem to stern is compromised by the very wide superstructure section. Finally, preferably I would like to see this boat on a composite version as the flotation tends to be more steady on waves and not bouncing as aluminum is prone. Please also use global measurements such as knots, liters, nautical miles and meters it will be easier for us to follow. Regards.
Arksen is happy to make the fuel tank larger for a customer. That's the good thing About the brand, each boat is made one at a time -- they are not out of a mold.
Not nearly big enough in the current market where boats of this type are starting are starting to reach an incredible 60 plus feet and there is "cork in a bottle" problem as well as aluminum has incredible buoyancy but also as is aluminum much easier to "extrude" as opposed to typical stringer methods that have been used for Centuries now but are crazy labor intensive and expensive...and very heavy (draft?) as well.
Thank you guys for keeping this channel going, It's been over 15 years and I'm happy to still see you uploading!
Thank you for watching and appreciate the kind words!
Such a welcoming change with Boomies
Ahoy to you too! I'm having an absolute BLAST with boat test!

CE rating? - Is a larger tank available?

why not make it possible to be transported by trailer.? .. Europe 3,5T MAX
That look like a XO 270 cabin outboard 😂 in new clothes and new name… look it up
You're right! And you will be seeing our walkthroughs on some XO's soon!
That's exactly what they are. XO builds the bones and then Arksen just does the outfitting and finishing.
Looking for adventure with a 80 gallon gas tank? Most 21 - 23 feet boats have a bigger gas tank than that!
