4:35,but sir it is clearly mentioned in ncert that by physically joining a p type sc and a n type sc will not form a diode as there will be gap larger than inter molecular gaps...to make diode we have to put tetra valent atoms on one side and trivalent atoms on the other side of the same semi conductor.
