Sad thing is, I watch this podcast when I crave human interaction but I'm too depressed to leave my house for days at a time. You can skip if you want, but here are some words from someone also dealing with depression. Just take things one at a time. You can do it! And if you can't tackle something immediately that's not a reflection on you. You are person deserving of respect and kindness. This is just a rough patch in your life. Like healing from a leg spain. Getting injured or healing are things that happen sometimes. And right now you're in the midst of recovery. Sorry if I'm just dumping words on you. But I just wanted to try and send some support your way.
I wonder if you could get some groceries ordered in? Sometimes, eating something fresh or tasty (or whatever you'd like) is a nice way to take a breath and start feeling a bit better about life. About the hide and seek thing with Zach saying it'd be sad when you start wondering if people have forgotten about you. That happend to me. We were in a big house in the country somewhere with lots of people for my neighbours birthday and all the kids decided to play hide and seek. We played a couple rounds which were fun, but in the last round we played I stayed in my spot for almost an hour if not longer before I got out because I was kind of done. As it turned out the other kids had completely forgotten about me, had played another round and after that one stopped playing. They said they thought I had already stopped, but it was clear that they - including my brother and the kid who had seen me in my hiding place but wasn't the seeker - had forgotten me. I felt great...
