What shuts down the caller's argument is that you get roughly a month to prepare for that first playoff game and Michigan still came out so flat and unprepared.....also I keep hearing what OSU was able to do to my Dawgs. Stroud hurt us rolling right and extending plays, please remember that we had a guy off the edge that runs a 4.39 by the name of Nolan Smith that had a season-ending injury. If he plays it's no contest. Watch what he did to Bryce Young in the natty.

Michigan doesn't want to play The Georgia Bulldogs again. Georgia Bulldogs put a Big Whoopin' on Michigan in 2021 in the Semifinal Orange Bowl. Georgia Bulldogs 34 Michigan Wolverines 11. If TCU beat Michigan, Georgia Bulldogs would have beaten Michigan by about the same score. Remember Michigan fans, The Georgia Bulldogs are a 4 quarter football Team and Ohio State was winning, BUT Georgia Bulldogs came back and beat Ohio State 42 to 41. Georgia still won and Massacred TCU in the National Championship Game. Bulldogs are BACK to BACK NATIONAL CHAMPIONS and possibly a 3 Peat in 2024! Michigan would have been a better match up for Georgia, however, they would have been beaten in the arena of 45-28 because Georgia's defense was no where near as good as it was last year. OSU does have that rare thing where they will have a stand out player and if everything is firing for them on offense then they can score at will. The Bucks problem though is on defense and now they have a Don Brown clone running the show and they can give up 30 points in 3-5 plays at any given moment. That will not change. Valenti has been fair to Michigan but his obsession with them is ridiculous. Let it go man. So what if Michigan loses in the playoffs. They have been there 2X back to back and that it hard to do for anyone. As much as they return this year in 2023, its doubtful they return to the playoffs but the B10 is absolutely awful across the board and the SEC haters on here have ZERO clue about football. Miss State who beat Illinois (with no coach) is a 2nd tier SEC school and they would compete to win the B10 West every year.

And OSU also had 5 weeks to prepare for UGA. If the committee would of put UGA vs. TCU, and let OSU and UM play in the semi's, instead of looking ahead to a possible mega money tv viewership of hoping UM and OSU both won their games. OSU probably beats UM in the semis. But would only had 9 days to prepare for UGA. That is what would make the difference. How about this thought. The committee was about to look stupid, when UM lost. There was a real possibility that ZERO big10 schools get in. If people don't think that the officials and ncaa football kings had something up, you know nothing. Because realize this, the MOMENT UM lost, the point spread dropped to 3 1/2 points. At 3pm that day, it was 5 1/2. And dropped to that with all the betting. Even Vegas knew, something was going on.

@@foxbodyblues6709, I know it sounds good to say RB5 and RB6, but that's just not true. It may of been RB3 and RB4. Those had some success. RB2 was shut down, RB1 was injured. But maybe if OSU had a coach that COULD develop, maybe OSU wouldn't be using injury excuses. Period. That late in the year, EVERY team has injuries. It's what you did through the year to get the next guys ready. And OSU and bama the year before, DID NOTHING. Both teams were to busy padding the stats of the superstars. Where Kirby was playing close games with average teams, and STILL playing the 3rd and 4th strings in close games, just to get them ready for tough situations. The Mizzou game was definitely way closer then anyone expected, but it was exactly what Kirby wanted. Not saying he planned it that way, but was SO GLAD it went that way. Because that game, is what allowed UGA to beat OSU. Never panicked. And the injury excuse, how about the fact that UGA was without their best edge rusher, who by the way would of kept Stroud INSIDE the pocket, because he had the speed to force it, unless he was tackled by the oline, like the rest of the d-line was all game. LOL. Back to injuries, UGA was on their 4th and 5th string edge rusher on the last drive, because of injuries, but what happened, THEY MADE PLAYS. I have never said OSU wasn't a good team, or didn't belong. My original comment was the committee got greedy. Regardless of how the NCG turned out, I still believed that TCU deserved to be there, but the 4th seed. And played UGA in the semi's. The bottom line is this, when a team recruits top 5 classes over the past 10 years, every year. And several are top 50 players, with multiple receivers, and at least 1 top 4 rb in the country. There are no injury excuses allowed. QB's are one thing, not position players. Just saying.

Michigan would have played Georgia better no doubt about it. You can say "Well TCU put up 51 on you" all you want. If you actually watched the game you would see that a combination of bad play calling and shooting ourselves in the foot multiple times was the reason we lost by 6. That was clearly Michigan's worst game of the year, could we have played much better with a month to prepare, absolutely! Michigan only losing by 6 with all the mistakes we made showed you Michigan was clearly much better then TCU. If we would have played that bad against Georgia we lose by 28 or more. That game proved that the better team doesn't always win, hell we can point out the MSU game in 2021 also. Michigan has more talent then TCU on the roster to compete with Georgia. Do I think Michigan would have beat Georgia, maybe not? I guess we'll be stuck with what might of been, but I'll tell you this much, Michigan would not have lost by 58 lol.

TCU has one five star player to Georgia's 15. TCU has 16 four star players compared to Georgia's FIFTY-THREE. This disparity will always mean that college football at the highest level pretty much sucks and is often a waste of time. At least with the NFL you have a hard cap set on recruits due to the money it costs to field good players. At what point do we consider setting a cap on college recruits? I know prestige is important or whatever but this is straight up unfair IMO.

To push a team like Georgia or Bama in their prime, you have to have an elite QB, a good offensive line, and at least two elite receivers. Even then you have to play just about your best to have a shot at beating them, and hope they're off their game a bit, like in the Peach Bowl. If you don't have that, you don't have much shot unless they just give the game away.
