Mike’s like a month behind on this. The guy has been focused on baseball since he was eight. Everything was taken care of for him, and the interpreter who he knew since his early Japanese career took care of him here. The guy doesn’t care about much outside of his job.
I read the entire report and it's complete bullshit . I live in Orange county and everyone saw ohtani and ippei at the home of the bookmaker . Anyone who believes ohtani doesn't know anything about it is crazy . What's the first thing he said ? He agreed and said yes I paid his bill. Then changed their story . Ohtani is lying his a** off. The dodgers attorneys know the truth .
You can tell they have hit rock bottom when they re-visit this rubbish. It makes me smile when Rico says "I don't understand..." If only he would stop there and say nothing else for the rest of his life he would invariably be correct.
He's right. How the hell does Ohtani not know that money is leaving his account. Because he was probably making the bets and the translator is the fall guy.
@dogonpot3756 why would I not have a problem with the way he constantly insults people's intelligence and speaks with the utmost arrogance and condescension?
CLASSIC mistake made by Rico when talking about any conspiracy. It goes too far and you sound dumb when you say he bet on baseball without evidence. Mike was right to say he could not go that far, everything else fine. This is like what Trump supporters do by stretching every conspiracy to its maximum limit no matter how absurd.
If your conspiracy theory was true…. Ohtani was the most disciplined gambling addict ever We know because the IRS took and tracked Ohtani’s electronic devices as well And yes he didn’t log in or check that bank account. It was dormant until Mizuhara started to transfer money out of the account The guy was such a deg en erate gambler Never once contacting the 3 bookies from his own devices Not even going on bookie websites for a look see on his own devices Not even to check odds or even see what games are up on his own devices 9600 pages of text messages on his phone with Mizuhara over a 4 year period Never once talked about any of the 19000 bets he supposedly made through Mizuhara over a 26 month period No make a bet on this or how did we do on this game or that game
No. The frauds never let their victims know the reasons why they steal from them. If Ohtani knew, he could have paid off the debts right away before it got out of hands. He didn’t even have to ask for credits from the bookie. The affidavit is here www.espn.com/prod/styles/pagetype/otl/2024/240411_ent_mlb/2-24MJ2125-complaint-mizuhara.pdf
Don't these guys know that Shohei and this whole betting incident has been investigated by three Federal agencies, and gambling corruption has been an on-going investigation forever? The Feds could care less about baseball, the Dodgers, and Shohei. There could have been hundreds of staff involved. They would not risk indictments for Shohei.

Why y’all still taking about this it’s old news Feds already released their findings and Shohei has been cleared.
Mike’s like a month behind on this. The guy has been focused on baseball since he was eight. Everything was taken care of for him, and the interpreter who he knew since his early Japanese career took care of him here. The guy doesn’t care about much outside of his job.
Did any of you guys bother reading the Feds 37 page report on this matter that was released two weeks ago before y'all commented on the show???
Imma go out on a limb and say the afternoon radio hosts did not infact read any 37 page report before talking to the avg detroit sports fans
Nobody in Detroit reads

Baseball is about as pure as the nuns that go to Dodger games

Everything about the way Rico speaks just annoys me
brother you got a problem then

Who made that thumbnail🤣. “Ohanti”
Thank you! Blame Evan! It has been fixed.
If Shohei helped the interpreter it would still be a felony. Shohei was betting on games and the interpreter is the patsy. It's so obvious.

Have no clue why athletes need to bet. They make more money than anyone for playing a kids game like baseball or football. It makes no sense
Mr Ohtani didn't do any betting. Are you saying his interpreter is an athlete?
@@engletinaknickerbocker5380 I thought he betted on Penn state baseball...
Notice how it was found out when he got a wife
If was Shohei I would sue y’all for defamation he’s been cleared.
He didn't check his bank account, but he keeps a close eye on Detroit sports radio?
Obvious that you're not a high-level athlete.
There were 0 bets on baseball. I believe Shohei was funding his friends gambling addiction.

They would have no idea whether Shohei made the bets or not. It simply came from his account.
@@HTHAMMACK1 Apparently you have not read the investigative report.
No why he didn't now the interpreters taking the fall
sad you already edited this comment and you still couldnt get english out
