      Unfortunately, not all of us were financially literate early. I was 35 when I finally educated myself and started taking steps. I went from $176,000 in debt with zero savings or retirement to now, 2 years later, fully debt-free and over $1000,000 net worth. I know that doesn't SOUND like a lot, but I'm incredibly proud of it. Now I'm fast-tracking my wealth building (investing $400,000 annually) and don't owe a dime to anyone. It's a good feeling!

      You're correct. I think the smartest way to go is
      to spread out your investments. By putting
      your money into different asset classes like
      bonds, real estate, and stocks from other
      countries, you can lower the risk if one part of
      the market goes bad.

    Successful investing is hard work because it means disciplining your mind to do the opposite of human nature. Buying during a panic, selling during euphoria, and holding on when you are bored and just craving a little action. Investing is 5% intellect and 95% temperament.

I remember a few summers ago, after a tough divorce, when I needed a boost for my struggling business. Isn't it interesting how billionaires often brainwash people into believing that chasing money isn't the path to happiness? The truth is, while money itself might not bring happiness, it does provide security and freedom. These billionaires are securing wealth for future generations, and one thing they all have in common is that they're investors. It's crucial for people to take their financial literacy seriously and consider investing in the stock market. It really can work for you and help you build the financial future you deserve.

    High reward means high risk. The benefit of a W2 job is you know exactly what your paycheck is going to be. Being an “entrepreneur” on TH-cam means you don’t know what your next paycheck is going to be, whether that be positive or negative. Only way to secure yourself is to pay down debt/put money into guaranteed returns, but those returns are going to be relatively low.

    Saving and investing is key. Both in retirement and after-tax accounts. The advice on the Solo 401(k) is spot on. Do a Mega Backdoor Roth Solo 401(k) and put $69,000 in it for 2024 ($23K in tax-deferred and $46K in after-tax with Roth conversion). On top of that, you need to have a much larger emergency fund (a full year of expenses) to use as a buffer for the low earning months, and the potential for a complete shift in your business model.

    I know a super successful TH-camr, he had a family, quit TH-cam for a couple months, came back, works in construction now and does TH-cam as a side gig for extra income. Your life doesn’t all have to be strictly online, you can work in the real world and also contribute to the online world. I plan on doing the same. In highschool I also had a teacher whose husband is a VERY successful TH-cam artist but he used to work in accounting when he started before he went full time with TH-cam and other platforms.

  • @eliza6722
    @eliza6722 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

    I can see why he feels insecure. Seriously most TH-camrs can’t keep up this income stream in 3 years. And if all he knows to do is to live streaming, when his channel isn’t popular anymore, it’s hard for him to get back to the real world to get a real job, and sure, that real job definitely won’t pay him $300K per year. So it’s good for him to think ahead rather than sitting on $300K thinking that will go on forever.

    The way out of this is to save big while the big money is flowing in. If he can get another 5 years out of this deal, he should have a million in the bank, maybe even $1.5. At that point, all you need is enough income to pay the bills and just let the invested money go to work for you over time (and time you have at 24 years old). Plus, anyone who figures out how to have that level of income at 24 is going to be able to come up with other ideas, and most likely better ones. No need to worry here.
