@@Blaznchicken I just bought a 4-Tec 2.0 VXL, Ford Mustang and Corvette GT bodies two hours ago. Using 5/64" hex driver and removing 4 screws (2 front, 2 rear) I raised the mounts to clear the bodies. So ... yes, they are adjustable out of the box and include additional mounts.
I bought the same hpi vintage tires, have not installed them yet, I like that you can glue the side walls, how do they match up against the stock response ones?
I bought this body for my TT01 and it looks about like it does on this 4 tech. Horrible width. my 190 mm chassis (which tower hobbies said would work) is exactly ONE INCH narrower than this body.
OK IM PUTTING THE ADJUSTABLE BODY POSTS ON MINE WITH A CARBON FIBER SHOCK POST I GOT IN MAIL TODAY,,,7$ AMAZON HURRY!!! BUT GLAD THEY CAME WITH THEM SO I CAN USE (NEVER USED NEWER SILVER SKYLINE;) AND ONLY USE MY FORD GT BODY SOMTIMES((WHY THE HELL DID TRAXXAS BUILD IT SO YOU CAN'T LOWER LOWER THE FORD BODY!!!!!!?????
I came to watch a vid about the 4tec, stayed for the music. Holy crap that beat is fire!
Who is it?
Sweet 4tec I have c8 protoform body on mine and have been trying to find nice wheels and tires for it, and just found them thanks!!😎👍
I wanted to do that ever since the 4 Tec was released. Well done.
without a front bumper, wont any frontal collision crack the body? also how well do those tires hold up compaired to usgt tires?
What song is this? Wow
@RacePF will these work with the Mustang 4tec 2.0 body ?
Parts needed
1. 4tec 2.0
Not sure why include the body mounts. Which is already on the car ........
Because the stock ones aren’t adjustable
@@Blaznchicken Yes they are. I literally just adjusted my fronts and rears to fit the Ford GT body. You don't have to remove the foam bumper either.
Travis Crowder they’re not.. they come with an adjustable pair but the stock ones aren’t adjustable, they only fit the GT

Protoform vta tires don't fit the 4 tec. You can see they rub on the camber links. Same problem i have with my 4 tec.
Just add some wheel spacers. It's no big deal
I like to use shorter screws on adjustable body mounts

Anybody know what song this is. This is great!!!
Use Google assistant.
Do you have to remove the calipers to use them wheels and tires?I like the wheels but want to keep the brake calipers.
I think so because of the tires offset
The space of wheel to body looks ugly. The body looks to big.
Make a 1968 Mustang Coupe
Will give thumbs up if you tell me what song that is!

Looked better before all the messing around. not a fan of removing the foam bumper. The width of this PF body on this chassis looks horrendous.

Yeah...I dont need a Front Foam Bumper....I'll just replace my whole Front End every time I Crash !
Didn't finish video! Can trim the front bumper! Just saying! 😆
Wheels are way to inset
Not a legal VTA motor and speed control.
And you American guys are only running 25,5t brushless! In Germany, we are using 17,5t
v6 lol
Eco Boost
Your wheels offset with the body is discusting !!!!!!!
I think he plans on making it fly.
Those wheels suck traxxas wheels are way better and that body 👎🏻👎🏻
Volante tires are still the best.
