I just did this to get Bad fuel out of my gen 2 coyote and everything going going well and hen I connected my jump wires to 3 and 5 it would spit out the fuel. I kept doing this for several minutes and then it just stopped working all together. After several tries of it not releasing fuel anymore I decided to make a new jump wire. This to did not work and I am frustrated that I basically got to 90% of the job being done and now I can’t get anymore fuel to drain. What would possibly be the issue that I am having?
I desperately need to do this for my 09 Mustang GT but mine does not look anything like yours. I have a fuel box looking thing instead of a fuel rail and it doesn't look like the hoses can just be pulled off. The connections even have these little wire things locking in the two pieces, like a little lock system.
I just did this but now it looks like it killed the pcm!
Sweet cars been sitting for months with e85 in it gonna give this a try thanks!
same but I have a gen3 would this work?
If u can disconnect the fuel rail like in this video yes

Thanks. Literally just finished an engine swap and this is my last step! Cheers to you, sir!

Will this work on a 2007 mustang GT 4.6 3V? My fuel has been in the tank for years.
Thank you for this tip! Works great
Why does the pump start and stop? How do you get it to run continuously?
Can’t. That’s just the way it’s programmed in the ECU. It cycles!
Your a freaking stud dude thanks
Thanks for the tip. Much easier than going through the back seat.
