( Not an expert here, still on the learning curve, and a fellow Bicolliner ) Little tip : rub some beeswax on the edges and polish them with a hardwood stick or a screwdrdiver. It'll round off the edges and darken them. Take care !
Thank you, I am using this as a guide to make my holster. I ordered the same stuff you used here. Unfortunately the Fiebing's Walnut dye was either lost by USPS or stolen off my porch - I suspect USPS is at fault here. I need this done by Saturday for the RennFest, so I'm probably gonna just have to go without. Thankfully I have both the neutral and the brown resolene, so I'm gonna apply the brown to add some color.
@@jessielewis6980 Thanks, I finished it! It's much lighter in color than yours, but looks decent. Very happy with the result despite various beginner mishaps. Thanks so much for your tutorial! :)

Loved this simple “for beginners” approach to this project.
Super late response! But thanks for your comment! I'm a beginner at so many things; I figure lots of other folks must be too 😉

You should've seen all the rejected tries 😬

Thank you!! I didn't know you could use a screwdriver for that, and I wasn't ready to go buy another tool (haha). This is an awesome tip 👍
