I love mapogos but Majngalanies were superior they defeated mapogos and never lost a battle even in such a old age .. a single majngalani used to chase a coalition of young lions even after passing his prime .... But the age defeated them as nothing is more powerful than nature

So nope, they are not superior..
If they were in the same generation as the mapogos, then you might as well include them to the 40-60% of lions killed in the mapogo's reign

Mapogos where stronger than them and more superior.
Without human interference the mapogos would have ruled for much longer.
Rasta and dreadlocks poached, mr t darted resulting in kt being killed alone, pb and makulu seperated from mr t when he was killed by the selati lions.
@@pujanrokaya2844 They aren't close to being superior, Mapogos were far superior it was just the end of their time and their reign ended because they split up as they became older. KT and Mr T annihilated Majngalanie lion and only ever lost because they then tried to fight 4v1. if Mapogos stayed together they would have ripped Majngalanies to shreds. They were the greatest coalition easily, bar none.
Every coalitions has a story, the 1 story that has stick to me is the mapagos, their feud, brotherhood, test of loyalty, sheer dominance, struggle for imminent power of leadership, cannabilsm, infanticide and so on, they truly mesmerise me when I first watch their 1 hr documentary, majilanes definitely the new gen lions of sabi sands and mapagos eternally will be remembered as the most brutal at their prime.

A testament to their survival opportunities. They thrived, ruled for 8 years and surpassed the average life expectancy for male lions in the wild by 2-3 years. They had the genetics to be on top. Sired over 50 Cubs too? They’re bloodline is pretty secured I’d say.

Majingilane ruled for more years (8) than Mapogos (7). The only difference is the Mapogos ruled the whole of Sabi Sand unlike the Majingilane who did not rule the whole area. The Mapogos also killed more lions during their reign unlike the Majingilane however, these two coalitions are the greatest of all time
Another big difference is that the alliance also had broken up with 4 and 2

Mapogos were older, larger and their leader was an enormous male lion that would take any of the Majingilane, 1v1. And after the 1st night of Mapogo/Majingilane battle, it would have been 6 to 4, Mapogo.

Pretty sure the notch coalition lasted nearly 10 years of reign. More than both.

I think kinky tail was asleep when majingilane attacked him according to the form of the fight. Four majingilane were behind kinky tail so the expert thinks kinky tail resting when majingilane attacked. Mr T is really shocking because he tried to save brother even though it was impossible so Mr T wasn't afraid when he run also signed kinky tail to leave him instead to fighting and the two of them died in the fight.

kinda surprised when they said the year was 2010-2017. the footage looks like it was taken from the 70s.
It's a shame because they have livestreams now and 4K. Imagine being able to watch the Mapogos like that. Apart from upscaling the old footage, sadly we won't ever see it.

Yeah if not one of the most brutal lion deaths ever recorded. I have seen a lot of lion fights, most of them end in fatal injuries or just simply scrap for a few minutes and it's done they run away.

I know we all love the Mapogos but they couldn’t stay forever. Think of how many lions the Mapogos took out, eventually it was their turn too. Karma applies even in the wild 🦁
The Mapogos were too dangerous and killed too many animals at the park and had to be by replaced by less aggressive lions bloodline is the conspiracy and I think its true and was the proper move. I just wish the park would admit it if true.

When he found word that Mr. T and Kinky Tail had split up from their 4 brothers he saw they had messed up severely and offered a reward of 1000 gazelle to any predators that could bring the entire coalition down. The majengilane were so eager to gain this reward that they ran into Mr..T and KinkyTail’s territory without applying any form if militance or strategy. The rest is history 😁

First in the morning it was a 2v5 then at the night kt was killed the majingilanes where chased away again 2v4 then mr t was sedated and kt was the only one chasing them they realised this and turned back and viciously mauled kt and ate him alive which was very unessasary since they had been feeding on a buffalo for two days and no kt and mr t didn't eat there brother alive they just heavily wounded him and left him to die which I can respect because you have to kill them just not eat them alive. Oh and while im on that topic the majingilanes also eat there dead brothers body WHAT A GREAT FAMILY. Also when mr t returned to his other brothers him, rasta and dreadlocks scared them off.

Yup. Majingaline were tacticians who new when to fight and when to get reinforcements. There is a abyss between being brave and stupid, majings would wait till the odds favored them then kick some ass , K T was stupid and ran in when he shoulda been gathering forces to battle the threat. Had the dumb lion gone and got the other 4 he might not have died like he did, still it was gratifying to see him get what he laid on so many single and 2 lion coalitions as he and his brothers were always 5 on 1 , 6 on 2.
Mapogos,selati, notch, matimbas and lot more great Coalations but Majingilanes will always be my Favorite coalation of all Time. I know they have to lot haters but who cares what people thinks about them. They changed the Lion dynamics in Sabi sand and sired a lot of cubs.

People don't realize that when you control the geography and the number of prides which the Mapogos covered, that's not easy task watching over and patrolling such vast territories. Yes the Majings were never dethroned, but what they had to defend was a fracture of what the Mapogos had to defend. Eventhough I'm a Mapogo fan, I'm in no way a Majingilanis hater. I give respect when it is deserved, and they certainly have earned theirs. Nevertheless l give the southern Matimbas a lot of credit for their bouts with the 4 member Majings with only HB and Ginger.

Majingi strategy was better: First they took the east sabi sand, spread their genes in 3 prides. Than they took the west of ss, spread their genes in 3 more prides. Majingilane left their genes in 6 prides. The mapogos took 7 prides at once and spread their genes in 1 pride. Thats wrong strategy

Very underrated coalition since the Magopo took all the limelight.
I know this Magingilanes story, but it is always interesting how the Mapogos, Magingilanes, the Selaties, and to even the Matimbas who came to Sabi sands are linked through their prides and having dominated they all have daughters in Sabi sands and some have sons in Kruger; maybe even lions that are not sure if they are alive or death.

Good documentary.
The only reason the majingis ruled for so long was because the mapogos, they wiped out the whole other blood lines of lions in almost all of the sabi sand. They only beat the mapogos because of the deaths to poachers , locals and the split of mr t and kinky tail. Because the mapogos had conquered most of the sabi sands it made the success of the majigalines to last for as long as they did. Although the majigalines were a strong pride. Everyone must bow down to the mapogos. Had they all still banned together, would we ever see such massacre yet to come. 🙏🏻
Which the mopogo haters can never accept. Only thing that hurts is that they had very less cubs to spare due to all the killings.

did you watched the mapogos documentary?
After mr. T. retreated he came back with 2 of his brother (rasta and dreadlocks).. the 3 of them alone made the majingalanies run away with out a fight...
But one went missing and
one got too far away from the borders of the reserve and was shot(rasta and dreadlocks)
And mr. T was killed in a 1v4 figth with another lion coalition..
So nope, they are not superior..
If they were in the same generation as the mapogos, then you might as well include them to the 40-60% of lions killed in the mapogo's reign
Makhulu and prettu boy survived a couple more years with out a pride which is hard as expected of their age .
