I think one if the craziest matters is when a husband and wife tried to protect their home and their dog from rioters who threatened to burn down their home and kill their dog, used guns to defend. They didn't fire their weapons, but just because they held them, they were charged with crimes and have had to hire legal council to fight the charges. There were just the two of them and several dozen rioters who had been burning businesses in their area. It seems like the whole thing is upside down.

That was one of the moments that made me realize that as a San Francisco resident I was in big trouble now no longer believing what anyone else in my vicinity believed

There doesn't seem to be a "safe" career anywhere. When flower shops and cake decorators are being destroyed economically by court cases because they took a stand for religious beliefs and freedom. They have lost business and thousands of dollars and had to fight all the way to the Supreme Court, won cases, but again get sued to go through it all again. It doesn't seem to end. It's devastating to these businesses.

One thing I want to add is that conservatives have a lot friends in foreigners. A lot of Muslim and Christians with family values africans Asians Hispanic you name it. But because the liberals have blinded us foreigners into thinking that conservative = racist. We have been turned off by it but if we work to change this narrative and unite we have numbers. Conservatives have failed misrebly in this department because of nationalism which is important but it cost them the culture war.

I’m a former man of the left, who’s recently come around. I was raised Christian, but was turned off by the religious right of the 90s. I wish I could have been a part of conversations like these back then.

I’ve parted ways with the left this last year as well. What caused you to change your mind?

@@littlebird3495 watching out my window as “peaceful protesters” set cars on fire with Molotov cocktails definitely had something to do with it.
More generally, though, the it had to do with the realization that the left didn’t want honest discussions, didn’t have real solutions to problems, and tended to shit all over people who worked hard and made things better. In retrospect, it would have happened sooner if the right had been less angry and obnoxious.

Parents desperate to not alienate their adult children with LGBQ views in hopes that they will wake up to the reality is what has kept me from screaming at the craziness in our society's jump off the deep end.

Soft totalitarianism is far more scary than socialism because although socialism can be used to totalitarian minded people to their own advantage that doesn't mean they are at any one moment only ever trying to engineer social programs to their own advantage. Instead it is people who love money most who base their self esteem only on how much money they can manage for their own are the ones often doing it for them. Like whenever greedy people are allowing for a 3 tiered public health system including 1 for the rich, one for the poor and 1 for employees who were being offered benefits when getting hired which later when it comes to working at Hooters for example only really included besides the public health system being offered breast augmentation surgery; Or, when putting into place a confusing tax rules and who add confusing additional clauses into mandatory to all businesses public funded insurance contracts which favor only the filthy rich. Or when offering the most welfare money to those who contribute the most to their political campaign.

The only push back I've seen is from the MY PILLOW company's owner and his products have been dropped from every major market place. GOYA has had the same reaction from the WOKE community.
