You can always tell when a dog is reared well by how happy and willing they are before a command to offer up what your doing. Like a paw or cheek :)

Do ever cut their whiskers? Probably weird question, but I didn't notice on this dog if she has any..but some of ours has pretty long ones

First, congratulations on your new addition! Second I would say nails weekly and baths monthly, depending on how active and smelly they get 😉

Yes it was and I know it's been a year from your post. A&D is like petroleum jelly w/ lanolin. It's lighter and smoother, not as "gooey". It's good for lots of uses! Chapped hands, dry skin, soothing diaper rash ...... I used to work for company which made. Sorry you didn't get a reply sooner.....hope your Frenchie is feisty and doing well..... :))

Omg from puppy on, my frenchie freaks anytime I touch his feet! I’ve tried everything including a sling! Help! Buddy is going crazy with his feet chewing
Check out my video on the burrito technique. That might work. Frenchies can be like pugs where it takes two people to do nails!

have you tried taking him to a vet to get his paws checked out?
try giving him a treat when you handle his paws so he associates it as a good thing. handle it with care and very gently.
if none of that works, then maybe he’s scared? does he have a past history of abuse? make sure to handle with care and that he knows you are not an enemy and won’t do anything bad, start off moving very slowly and gentle

Me grooming a frenchie: tossing them in the kitchen sink, soap, hose down, clean ears, dry, done. :)
to be clear... cleaning ears is separate from the rest!!! we must be very careful with the ears/eyes/nose

The french bulldog is a torture breed and must suffer from the bred restrictions all his life. He cannot lead a normal life. As a rule, the owner has to cope with high veterinary costs. Please do not buy a pug. Do not support the breeding of such sick dogs.
