Absolutely agree. What you said, along with the destruction of the face, says someone very close to her. Kate Eddowes' face was also severely mutilated. I would not be surprised one bit if the killer knew her as well
I’ve been reading about the Ripper murders for over 60 years. All the accounts say that very little is known about Mary Kelly. Other than in the books you mention, it’s been said that she was Irish, married to a coal miner who died, was briefly a sex worker in France, came back to England and continued sex work. If we don’t know anything else what is the point of these dreamed up novels?
