Thank you so much for that review I was thinking of changing my 70D for the 5 D MkII iv only had the 70D 7 months I'm just a hobbyist photographer and was wondering should I change to a full frame !! But this has made my mind up to stick with the 70D and use the money to get better glass , once again thanks please keep up the good work
A very good review; I'm personaly in that case and looking for a DSLR camera in order to shoot some videos. If I choose the 70D, I'd be heading to buy a full frame 2 or 3 years after; and I don't know if the 5DIII might be a more durable choice for maybe 1000€ more.
what if your really good at taking pictures on your camera phone and want to start your own business I mean could I take great pictures to get paid for with the 70D? I get alot of request for edit people love the way I edit
thanks for the video, was the kind i was looking for, once im just thinking about to upgrade from my 70d to the 5d iii, i began to photograph as a hobby, but now im just beginning to earn some money with that... i`ve been shooting a lot with the canon 40mm pancake lens, it has been working well with the 70d, but i`m just beginning to look for some more quality to my pictures, like sharpness, details etc...my segment is fashion photography, do you think i could achieve better results getting the 5d mark iii? thanks
+Mimi Salah you could film it with your phone , all he has done is lit the scene correctly and used proper audio, the camera has little to no effect in this, most modern dslr would look fairly simialr if the scene is preped properly
Just here, 2024, justifying myself whilst looking at a used Lumix S5. Got a mint 70D for £500 inc lens & a mint 5D III for £670 inc lens. Plus 3 other Lumix cameras, and a 40D, and 2 Insta360 cameras. I have GAS. Ignore me & move on. But I want that S5...
I don't buy Canon lenses for my 70D - L series or other Canon lenses... way too expensive and I see no point in spending more money for the red circle and a letter L when a Sigma lens is about 1/4 the price of a l series lens and produces a superior photograph equal to or better than the L series does. Sadly though, the purchase of a 5D series Canon DSLR requires the (minimum) use of a L series lens or greater value (more expensive) than what you would require on a crop sensor camera...so the down fall of a full frame DSLR is that one is required to spend unnecessary money in order to get proper use of the camera...so if someone is willing to spend the money on an full frame DSLR, you best be prepared to spend the big bucks for the lenses as well!! Not professional yet? Hmmm .. awful expensive paperweight you just purchased!!

The 70d is still a very high end camera. If you get the good lenses, you're into $1000's
