I like the kit, but the over sized Millenium logos have to go. Should just have the blue // M Drums logo, much classier. Will change out the front Bass Drum head to Black. Very nice drums!

Something That I did not see in the video was a menu for the zone settings of the pads, for instance, triple zone rides normally need to have zones set up, how do I proceed with dealing with trigger zones, and trigger types, like piezo and switch?

I just purchased the MPS-1000 kit & I'm very impressed with the construction, design & overall playability of the kit. I have a couple questions that I haven't seen addressed in any videos related to the kit so far & I'm hoping you will be able to shed some light on these matters. The first question I have is regarding linking the MPS-1000 module to a DAW(Logic Pro X) & external MIDI software(Superior Drummer 3). I am not sure how to link the MPS-1000 module to record and get playback through the outside software, so I was hoping to find out a way to do so. The second question I have is regarding using a double kick pedal with the kit & if there is anything additional needed to allow optimal performance if a double kick pedal were brought into the fold. I noticed that the trigger pad area for the kick doesn't quite seem large enough to accommodate 2 beaters so I was wondering if I'm mistaken, or if there is a sensor upgrade needed/available. With the double kick introduction is there any particular sensor setting that is optimal or required to utilize this type of playing. Thank you in advance for any help you may provided regarding these questions & I look forward to hearing back from you so I can get the most out of these drums.
@@Maria68Maria68 need help with questions above? To link it in daw you need to set "omni" in kontakt. First you need to enable it in daw midi settings. I use Ripper and its pretty simple. Then the track you set to input midi and you chose e-drums. Ofc you need the usb cable to connect it to the computer. Second question, I use double kick and it works like charm. A bit of work in the settings for the triggers and thats it. No need for a sensor upgrade or anything. IT works.

Actually if that was something you got that running nicely I think it will open up a lot of eyes for people who have a bit of bad eyes for these kind of drums! I mean I use it with a VST preset through the computer and it sound and feels soo close to acoustic drums but it's something still in the settings of the module I don't get just right!
I've emailed Millenium with a couple of questions about the load time for a sample, but they have not responded. I'm thinking of getting one of these kits but if they cannot be bothered to email back a potential customer that has a query, I might have to think twice! It's not just the cost but the support you get from a company that's important.

If your doing a gig and you have sampled drums, you cannot afford to be waiting 5 minutes for samples to load, so I would like to know what the load time is. Also, I'd like to extend the kit with an extra hi tom and maybe a floor tom. I know there is only one aux, but on my old kit I split a stereo channel and could add more drums. Can this be done with this kit?
Hi , I’ve recently bought an mps 1000 kit second hand , it worked great until I upgraded the firmware from 018 to 021 , my module is now dead ☠️, I can only start it in upgrade mode . The upgrade seemed to work perfectly , everything correct as per millenniums instructions , is there any previous firmware versions available so that I can reinstall version 018 ?, my kit is now useless , dead in the water , please 🙏 help
@@AtomGill Well yes and no , I have to go through a turn on process around 5 to 10 times , then it just turns on , I have to unplug the mains lead and reconnect it then press the on off button , the fader Leds start straight away but screen stays black , then it just starts up and works fine from then on , so it must be a power issue, I’ve tried a few transformers ( correct voltage ) same scenario , so the module is faulty turning on . But , once it’s on it works perfectly . Hense my yes and no answer . Cheers .
Can someone record the sound of a 16" (connected to EXT) Floor Tom on the Millenium MPS-1000 drum module and play it back on the module using KIT2? For me, the sound played back is different from the one recorded on the module. The details are below. I have an electronic drum set, the Millenium MPS-1000. I'm experiencing the issue described below. Could any of you who own the Millenium MPS-1000 check if this problem occurs on your drum set as well? I hear a different sound during playback for floor Tom 16. This depends on what I set in the KIT1 settings. If in KIT1 for TOM4 16" (connected to EXT) I select the group TOM and voice RIM16XNMas, when recording to the module, after playing the drum and during playback, I also hear the voice RIM16XNMas. However, if I change the KIT, for example, to KIT2 where for EXT there is the group PERC and voice SDS7_CLP, when recording to the module I hear the voice SDS7_CLP, but during playback, I still hear the voice RIM16XNMas from KIT1. Is it normal? I already sent back the first one I bought as agreed with the seller. Today, I received a new set, but after connecting it, I still have the same sound problem.

@@vojtexso229 I just changed the calibartion points and tightened the bolt on the hat. It fixed for me. Then I tweaked the headroom and sens for it to sound as realistic as it can..
I’ve added an extra floor Tom to the EXT but it doesn’t recognise it. I’ve connected the extra Tom to Tom 3 cable and it works so it’s not the drum 🤷🏼♀️
@@milleniumdrums sorry, should have updated! It was a Millenium 14x14 added. I’m not the drummer, it’s my little one but we got it working after doing a full reset. His teacher recommended a few level changes on certain drums and cymbals to make it more consistent when he plays acoustic so I think that’s what the problem was? He’s since discovered that a 16x16 is available so that’s on its way now 🙄🤣 I presume that will just take its place and work out of the box now that the module is set up for the extra Tom. 👍

@@dalmolim666 use a cable and you pug it in under/over where you plug in the extra crash. I had adjusted the sound/kits etc so that is why it didn’t work I think? Once we did a factory reset, it was working fine 👍 Well apart from it thinking it was a cymbal but that was easily changed under the sounds 🤣
There are 9 faders to adjust the 9 different drums pad levels but there are only 8 direct outs. I know you can adjust each direct out to be whichever drum pad but If I was to use this kit live or to record with the direct out then would I have to not use 1 drum pad out by default? Please let me know if you have any idea as I am iterested in purchasing this kit

You can save your own use kits on the module no problem !
My hihat almost always plays "open hihat" even if I release the lock and drop it down. Always open no matter which settings I put in.

You simply combine the three symbols (2 crashes and ride) and put them in a stereo output pair.

Imagine if they gave users the option deleting all internal sounds and install one high quality vst level kit.
You can load in your own samples.. so that’s basically the same without the deleting part
